The Great Pirate Era.
The great seas surge and churn, powerhouses destroy and annihilate, each fighting their own battles. It's utterly—
Demotivating!
I, Russil Kuro, age tw...
early morning.
"Huh? You mean the old man went to Totland?"
Kuro was woken up by a phone call and immediately heard some shocking news.
The Den Den Mushi now resembles a bespectacled, occasionally pushing something, looking like a mentally challenged... no, a wise man.
"Yes, Mr. Kuro, it was just a one-night trip, only a quick look around," the voice on the other end said.
"Huh? Just a quick stroll?" Kuro straightened up, hissed involuntarily, and gritted his teeth while touching his chest.
It really hurts.
Is this old man just putting on a show for himself?
"Forget it, that kind of thing doesn't matter. If the old man goes there, they'll probably really put their minds at ease," Kuro said.
“Um, Mr. Kuro, we’d like to know where you are.”
"I'm in the atmosphere! Are you an idiot? Wait for my message. I'm hanging up now. I'm hungry and cold after sleeping all day. Bring Kikyo with you when you come to pick me up."
Kuro hung up the phone and casually put his watch on his wrist.
He stood up and stretched, only to find his upper body aching.
"That 'steel balloon,' just you wait, I'll outlive you until you die!" Kuro said viciously.
beat?
Don't be ridiculous. Who the hell would want to fight such a freakish thing?
Compared to her, Kaido is actually easier to deal with.
After all, it's just that it has high HP and fast recovery, so it's still useful for inflicting damage.
He had witnessed the defensive power of that steel balloon; it relied purely on physical defense and used very little of its domineering aura.
His strength is comparable to Kaido's, who is a Zoan type, and a dragon at that!
You think you can compete with this thing in terms of strength? You're just being a scoundrel.
And elements...
Thinking about it this way, there's no AOE skill missing.
He was cursed by this old woman.
But just because he doesn't want to fight doesn't mean he can't outlast someone.
This old woman is almost seventy, while Kuro is only twenty-five. They've been waiting a long time for each other.
What? They can absorb lifespan? I've never seen anyone put it on themselves.
Besides, even if he could, he has pure gold, so what is he afraid of?
The old woman couldn't just kill herself with a knife.
At worst, we'll make it to the finals.
"Hiss...it's a bit cold."
Kuro shuddered, instinctively reaching for a cigar, only to realize... it was gone.
Because of the battle, his shirt and even his cloak were gone, so he had no cigars left.
Kuro looked around; the island... was completely bare.
I played around with the fingers too much before, squeezing out trees, animals, and everything else. I didn't have time to think about these things back then.
As for the seawater, it is still there, and there are sea creatures swimming in it.
Bang!
A sea monster resembling a dinosaur appeared on the sea near the island, smashing the empty boat docked on the surface and charging towards the only person on the island while roaring.
It was hungry.
Because there was no food.
The shattered debris flew everywhere, and something that Kuro loathed flew toward his head.
"Are you out of your mind?!"
Kuro drew his Shusui sword and shattered the flying ship's rudder into pieces. He cursed at the sea beast and unleashed a powerful slash, instantly tearing a large gash in the sea beast's body, almost cleaving it in two. He let it fall, its blood staining the surrounding seawater crimson.
"grass!"
Kuro cursed as he sheathed Shusui, stepped onto the wreckage of the ship's rudder, and walked toward the edge of the island on the other side, where there was no seawater.
"The inventory is indeed insufficient, completely insufficient. We should collect more. Next time I encounter this situation, I will directly use a large-scale 'Buddha's Palm' to suppress it for five hundred years, even if it doesn't kill it."
He walked along, pondering the matter.
He tasted the power of the Float-Float Fruit and found it quite effective.
If he hadn't used the island's size to block Charlotte Linlin's attacks twice, he would probably be even more seriously injured now.
This thing can be used for both offense and defense. With his current control over it, he could easily mold a giant and then retreat inside to launch an attack.
What man doesn't dream of piloting a Gundam?
Even a basic Gundam is still a Gundam.
He walked to the edge of the island and looked down. Below him, all he could see was a vast expanse of white fog. There were no sky islands in this place.
As he peered out, a gust of cold wind blew straight up, making him shiver.
"Let's go down and see where we are. It would be even better if there was a town nearby."
He took a step forward, ready to fly down, but suddenly paused and withdrew his foot.
He puffed out his chest, took a deep breath, and suddenly roared, "Rua!!!"
"I don't want to live anymore either! Just kidding..."
After he finished speaking, his entire body fell downwards, plummeting straight down in free fall.
Kaido...I'm so envious.
Kuro tilted his head down and rushed through the mist below, where he saw dark clouds with flashes of lightning.
Boom!
With a muffled clap of thunder, Kuro passed through the dark clouds once more, his body now soaked.
The raging storm pounded against his body and soaked his hair.
"No wonder it was so cold, it's a storm..."
Boom!
Another bolt of lightning struck, heading straight towards Kuro.
Kuro waved his hand, and the air above distorted, scattering the lightning as it continued to fall.
Soon, he saw the sea surface and a small black dot on it.
