The Great Pirate Era.
The great seas surge and churn, powerhouses destroy and annihilate, each fighting their own battles. It's utterly—
Demotivating!
I, Russil Kuro, age tw...
Tezzolo is the kind of person who is truly hateful, yet also pitiable.
But to be honest, whether it's that pitiful people have hateful aspects or hateful people have pitiful aspects, they deserve sympathy but not mercy.
The reason someone deserves sympathy is because of their conscience, which means they are a normal person. Showing no mercy is a matter of stance and values.
In Kuro's value system, he never believes that someone who is basically doing bad things is actually a good person just because they suddenly do something like holding an umbrella for a stray kitten or feeding it.
If someone has been doing good deeds for a long time, but is suddenly discovered not to hold an umbrella for stray kittens or feed them, and instead ignores passersby, then that person must be heartless, and all the good deeds they usually do are just an act.
Even in his previous life, Kuro always kept his distance from people who had such thoughts.
Don't mess with this kind of person; it will only make you look like you have no intelligence.
Because they only know how to create binary solutions.
Humans are inherently complex; there are no extremely evil people, nor are there extremely good people.
Kuro is a person, a normal person with a heart. He has his own inner biases, and apart from these biases, if he were to look at things from a neutral perspective, he would only look at what others do, never at what others think.
Even if someone feels so bitter that the world owes them something, if all they do is utter nonsense, then it's fine if you don't think of it, but if you see it and don't care, then your conscience won't allow it.
Kuro knew Tesoro's situation very well. His family circumstances when he was young led him to dream of money, and when he grew up, the person he cherished most was taken away by the source of all evil, causing him to begin to mutate.
He has become the 'pseudo-Celestial Dragon' he is today.
Kuro has no right to judge people in this matter; it's their personal journey, why should he point fingers?
People who point fingers at others are the most annoying; unlike him, he takes action directly when he has an opinion.
Death would end everything, erasing all past grievances.
With a 'whoosh', a white light flashed out, accompanied by a burst of golden light.
Moore appeared with a mountain of gold nuggets and said, "Found it."
Even the usually lazy man was a little excited at this moment, "So many Pele and gold!"
"All the gold is here?" Kuro looked at the pile of gold that was radiating a golden light. With a flick of his finger, a layer of gold rose from the ground, quickly surrounding the gold and obscuring its brilliance.
This thing is too eye-catching; I'd better cover it up first.
Of course, Kuro didn't take it all; he only took two-thirds, leaving the rest of the gold lying there.
As the gold was surrounded by dust, Clow Reed's palm rose, and the gold quickly flew into the air and disappeared.
Soon, Moore disappeared, and when he reappeared, he was carrying a mountain of money.
"It's all here. All I've found is where the money is hidden."
Moore glanced exaggeratedly at the pile of Baileys, "Wow, that's a lot..."
"Um..."
Kuro nodded. "There's so much money, it's dazzling."
As he spoke, he flicked his finger again, and the huge, square pile of Bailey's money split apart from the corners, with a layer of banknotes on the left, right, and top disappearing and being surrounded by a layer of dust, flying upwards as well.
At least one-tenth of that point was taken away.
At the same time, Kuro waved his hand, and the broken buildings and objects that were floating in the air fell down and covered the original gaps, making them look as good as new.
"Alright, put the rest back where they were," Kuro said.
"Aren't we taking them all?" Moore asked, puzzled.
"I think you're usually pretty smart, but do you think I can take all the credit at this crucial moment? Do you think the higher-ups are stupid or do you think I am?" Kuro rolled his eyes.
What's the use of having a lot of money? Do you really think it's yours?
When you think all the money is yours, you're doomed.
He could certainly take it all, but given the government's shady nature, getting the money back wouldn't be too easy.
Five hundred billion...
One hundred Rogers.
Once this money is spent, the World Government can rotate its top officials at headquarters again and again.
Take only a little, just enough to use.
"Alright, go back and rest now. Lida, let's go check out Lucci and see what that brat's up to," Kuro said in a condescending tone.
To be honest, Rob Lucci is thirty years old, and Kuro is twenty-six. Kuro is not even as old as Lucci. I don't know how he came up with the word "kid".
"Understood."
Moore nodded and disappeared with the remaining gold nuggets and money.
...
Landing point near the Guran Tezzolo.
As soon as the ten warships landed, Kakei and Gion were already waiting there.
Although Lucci was given command at this time, since there were two vice admirals present, the navy knew who to listen to and what to do.
In the end, it was still just Lucci facing off against these two general candidates.
"Tea Pig, Momousagi, what do you two mean by blocking my way?" Lucci squinted at the two people who seemed to be blocking his path.
Or rather, it wasn't a blockage at all.
As soon as he came down, Kakei came over and explained everything they had done, but he spoke very slowly, and would occasionally forget something or be thinking about something. This wasting time, and when it was almost time, Gion would add Kakei's words to smooth things over.
But Lucci knew that there was definitely something wrong with these people.
He had been informed earlier that the Celestial Dragons' main task now was to find the bodies and bring back the Berries and gold from Gran Tesoro.
