The Great Pirate Era.
The great seas surge and churn, powerhouses destroy and annihilate, each fighting their own battles. It's utterly—
Demotivating!
I, Russil Kuro, age tw...
"Wow, thank you, brother!"
Lida, oblivious to everything, rushed over and hugged Lowe as soon as she heard she could go in, jumping up and down with her face flushed with excitement.
"No, no, I didn't, I..."
Lowe was caught off guard by this sudden turn of events and panicked.
Gradually, a hint of tenderness appeared in his eyes, and he wanted to reach out and touch Lida's head.
I haven't touched my little sister's head in ages...
"Then I'll go in first!"
But as soon as he reached out, Lida released Lowe and rushed in like a whirlwind.
Lowe's hand froze, and a dark line appeared on his forehead.
"Hello."
Kuro walked over and nudged him in the ribs with his elbow, teasing, "How long have you been waiting here?"
"Don't touch me! You bastard!"
Lowe grabbed Kuro by the collar and yelled through gritted teeth:
"I wasn't waiting! I just happened to be standing there, wanting to see the scenery outside, but the gate was closed and I couldn't go out. Did you think I would wait?!"
"Or do you think I'd wait for you, you idiot who made my sister change her name and didn't even call! Fool! Ugh!"
Kuro slapped Lowe's hand away, straightened his collar, and said, "Don't give me that. You're the older brother, why don't you make your own calls? Do you expect your sister to call you?"
Lowe said hatefully, "I never wanted her to make the call! But you, eight hundred million, that's eight hundred million! You swallowed it without saying a word and used it to build your Pegasus Island, do you think it's fun? That Kabuki and hot springs are no fun at all!"
You've been there...
Why would a king not think about building up his country, but instead travel so far away for tourism?
Kuro smirked, "If you've been there, why didn't you go when Lida and I were there? At least we could have entertained you."
Lowe roared, "I didn't go! I was just passing by, that's all!"
"Come on, you perverted, arrogant, siscon."
Kuro rolled his eyes. "And besides, you should have a conscience. That business belongs to Lida in half, and what's the difference between my money and hers?"
“That’s my money!” Lowe continued to yell.
"Alright, alright, it's no big deal." Kuro waved his hand.
"you..."
"Nice to meet you. I am the King of Dressrosa, and my name is David."
Lowe was about to say something when David, who had come over, interrupted him, bowing and smiling.
This is one of our own, Miss Lida's brother, the King of the Insect Kingdom, so...
He can enter his own 'Debon'.
"Dresrosa?"
Lowe frowned and said, "David, the Conqueror?"
“What outsiders call me is insignificant. I am just like you, a king of a country,” David laughed.
"Kuro, you and him..."
"My friend."
Kuro put his arm around Lowe's shoulder and led him forward, saying, "You'll have to do me a favor later. It's about what happened before. I've already talked to you about it, right?"
"The proposal to abolish the Seven Warlords of the Sea?" Lowe frowned. "I agreed, but it's hard to understand. Abolishing the Seven Warlords of the Sea is a good thing, so why are you opposing it?"
Kuro said, "I have my own thoughts. The world is getting more and more chaotic lately. Why treat people as enemies? Although I have a good relationship with Brother Yixiao, I certainly disagree on this point."
“Fine, whatever you think, I’ll support you. It’s all for my sister’s sake. If you fall from power, my sister will be devastated,” Luo Wei said.
Kuro chuckled: "I'm telling you, if you have that kind of time, why don't you go and get to know Lida better? Why make things so complicated?"
"What's it to you! And it's Rita, not Lida!" Lowe roared.
The group walked together and arrived at Mary Geoise's resting place, a courtyard where many members of the royal family had already arrived. There was plenty of food laid out in the courtyard, and servants were attending to them.
"This is delicious!"
"This one is good too!"
"Mmm! The food in Mary Geoise is so delicious!"
Amidst the crowd, a small figure in a navy uniform and white cape moved swiftly among the various food stations, only the cape fluttering in the wind.
Seeing this, Lowe's temple veins bulged. "Hey, you're not going to abuse my sister, are you?"
"Don't you have any idea about your family's bloodline, Awei?"
Kuro stared at Lida and said, "Unlike you, who lifted the curse of Luo Shen, Lida's fighting bloodline is the same as Luo Shen's."
“I know that, but my sister can’t go hungry!” Lowe said.
Kuro rolled his eyes: "She can't drink seawater. If she could, given time she could drink all the water in the four seas! And be full... Lida, who has integrated 'Life Return' with her abilities, never has the concept of being full. Be content. In your kingdom, your dirt poor kingdom would have been empty long ago."
"The Insect Kingdom is not poor! Have you forgotten who gave you those eight hundred million?"
Lowe retorted, "Hmph, you're only rich now. I've heard that you got Gran Tesoro and even stole money from that Golden Emperor."
"You're really concerned. Don't make baseless accusations. I don't have any money. I found that half-ship along the way. The rest has nothing to do with me."
Kuro exhaled a puff of smoke, casually took a glass of wine from a tray carried by a passing waiter, and looked at the giant mermaid on the other side.
