Chapter 91 Amusement Park Kids

"Never mind, I'm not interested in stage plays."

Kuro exhaled a smoke ring and spoke slowly.

Shiva still smiled and said, "Then I'm afraid the naval officers will have to go back and rest, because everything here will stop soon."

His words seemed like an order, and suddenly everyone on the street headed towards the castle, while the amusement park rides gradually came to a stop.

The clowns stopped playing around, the vendors stopped selling their wares, and everyone walked towards the castle with happy smiles on their faces.

It seemed as if there was some sacred cause there that one had to participate in.

Shiva stepped forward, then suddenly turned and bowed to Kuro and the others, his meaning clear: he wanted them to come and watch.

Kuro glanced around. "Well, let's go take a look. So many people like it, there must be a reason."

"A wise choice."

Shiva laughed and said, "Stage plays are a specialty of Morgati. You must see them; you'll definitely be impressed."

Led by Shiva, Kuro and the others, accompanied by the navy, headed towards the castle.

That grand stage play seemed to be performed right in front of someone's castle.

When Kuro and his group arrived, the crowd was already enormous.

"Ah, I can't wait for the stage play of Prince Amusement Park."

"I was fortunate enough to see it once last year, and it left a very deep impression on me. Prince Amusement Park is truly a hero."

"Ahhhh! Your Highness!"

The whispers and discussions among the non-citizens piqued Clooney's curiosity.

Is it really that amazing?

The lights in the amusement park suddenly went out.

A large number of soldiers emerged from the towering castle and stood guard at the castle gate, guns raised.

One of them looked familiar to Kuro; it was Kai Shao from the shopping street. He was guarding there, seemingly to prevent the enthusiastic 'fans' from causing a disturbance.

Suddenly, a burst of light shone from the castle, obscuring the amusement park and becoming the sole center of this vast area.

A wide stage slowly descended from the top of the castle and stopped in mid-air, with the curtains on both sides slowly being drawn back.

Immediately, all the people who were shouting and yelling quieted down.

Is this how it begins?

"A long, long time ago..."

Inside the screen was a huge projection screen. As a voiceover sounded, several flat surfaces that appeared to be made of paper appeared on the projection screen.

"Shadow puppetry? Or is it a type of theatrical performance?"

Kuro was somewhat surprised, thinking it would be a live-action film from the start.

"The Kingdom of Morgati is still a very poor kingdom."

In the painting, several pieces of paper form the appearance of what was once Morgatti. Back then, there was no huge castle, just a dilapidated town. There are several little figures with bitter faces. One of these little figures is wearing a crown, and several others are dressed in noble clothes.

It should be the upper layer of Morgati.

"Without any defense, they are frequently attacked by pirates."

Several small figures dressed as pirates and carrying knives appeared on the screen, and the king and nobles looked panicked and began to run away.

The pirates obtained the treasure and returned victorious with smiles on their faces.

"The king and nobles suffered greatly, and the country became increasingly impoverished."

The town's color tone has lightened a few shades, but otherwise nothing has changed.

The town remains a town, and the plump ears of rice dotting the surrounding area are still ears of rice.

"People were plunged into despair..."

The king and nobles returned to the throne, their faces showing a bitter expression.

"However, the birth of a man changed everything!"

The paper figures of the king and queen raised their hands, and a tiny baby descended between them, bathed in light.

"That's Prince Amusement!"

The arrival of the baby brought smiles to the faces of the king and nobles, while the town's decor was slightly muted.

"From a young age, His Highness exuded an extraordinary charm, and everyone loved him. As His Highness grew up, the King and the nobles discovered His Highness's amazing potential, and the hope of the entire kingdom rested on His Highness."

The little figure on the screen grows little by little and becomes a boy.

"The young prince felt deeply sorry for the kingdom's poverty and was determined to change it. However, he was threatened by pirates. In order to open up the world, the prince must first eliminate the pirates."

Kuro spread his arms wide and took a bite of the cigar in his mouth.

This doesn't highlight their navy at all...

"However, the pirates did not give His Highness a chance to prepare. One day, pirates who had been entrenched on a nearby island came ashore."

"Kill them!!!"

This is human voice.

It's no longer a narration.

The curtain remained, but suddenly a group of pirates wearing headscarves appeared at one end of the stage. The leader wore a tricorn hat and had a fierce look on his face.

"Wow, someone's actually playing a pirate! But their acting doesn't seem very good; they look a bit flustered." Lida pouted; she didn't really like the stage play.

The pirates above were clearly flustered by the large crowd.

"They're not real pirates; they're just putting on a show for us," Kuro said.

Kuro glanced at the stage above, adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses, looked at Shiva who was smiling in front of him, and whispered to Kuro, "Something's not right. Those pirates are real."

"Um?"

Kuro was taken aback. "Really?"

Kuro nodded and said, "I met him when I was a pirate. That captain was the captain of the Strawberry Pirates, the Pastry Chef McCreedy with a bounty of 2.7 million."

"A real pirate?"

Kuro looked at the panicked pirates on the stage and felt relieved.
