At Huasheng Academy, Jiang Yuan leisurely returned to his dormitory, but he noticed something unusual as soon as he got back.

"Did they change the people next door?"

As soon as Jiang Yuan entered, he noticed that the hole in the wall had been patched up. If it were Gu Anlei, she definitely wouldn't have done such a thing. After all, the two of them would occasionally visit each other, so it must have been someone else who patched up the hole.

"Excuse me, are you home?" Xu Yi asked softly from outside.

"Not here!" Jiang Yuan said quietly through the crack in the door.

His two words left Xu Xin and Xu Yi completely stunned, and the two of them blushed with embarrassment outside the door.

Finally, Xu Xin mustered up the courage to knock on Jiang Yuan's door again and said, "Classmate, we just came to talk to you about the hole between our two houses."

With a creak, the door was pushed open, and Jiang Yuan stood leisurely in the doorway, seemingly not intending to let the two of them into the house.

"Why is it you?"

"Thank you, Jiang. We won't stand on ceremony then!" Xu Yi, who was thin, squeezed right past Jiang Yuan.

When Xu Xin saw her sister go inside, she had no choice but to shamelessly squeeze in as well.

"Serves you right for being so foul-mouthed!" Jiang Yuan stood at the door and muttered as he slapped himself twice. If he hadn't been so polite just now, none of this would have happened. He had just come back from eating at An Xiaoyu's place, and he had been eating all afternoon, almost filling his stomach completely. If he ate any more, he would really be overloaded.

There was nothing he could do; he had to deal with what he had brought upon himself. After closing the door, he went to the kitchen, grabbed three buckets of instant noodles, and put them on the table. The three of them stared at each other in disbelief.

Xu Xin and Xu Yi were absolutely confused. Wasn't dinner supposed to be instant noodles? And why didn't you add an egg or a sausage?!

"The landlord has no surplus grain; this is all he has at home!" Jiang Yuan lied without batting an eye.

Xu Yi wanted to ask something more, but Xu Xin interrupted her in time and then politely said, "It's nothing, it's nothing. Actually, we really like instant noodles. When we were little, we often missed the smell of instant noodles."

"Alright then, sit down for a bit, I'll boil some water for you!" Jiang Yuan got up and headed towards the kitchen.
