After waiting anxiously for ten minutes, Liu Zhaodi was incredibly impatient when she finally saw Jiang Yuan. She complained bitterly, "He didn't even take me with him. He must have gone to see some pretty girl!"

"A dog's nose? It's so sensitive!" Jiang Yuan said with a smile.

"Major Jiang, the Alliance Elder is already waiting for you at the camp!" Suma interjected in time to ease the tension between the two.

"Alright, hurry up and go inside!"

Jiang Yuan grabbed Liu Zhaodi's shoulders and quickly half-pushed and half-forced her to the North City Alliance camp.

"Hey, isn't this the second young lady of the Liu family? Jiang Yuan, you've got some nerve, coming back and already flirting with other women!"

Before they even entered the camp, Shangguan Ya stopped Jiang Yuan.

"Are you going to let me save your grandpa or not?!" Jiang Yuan didn't waste any words and directly used his trump card.

After saying that, Shangguan Ya obediently led Jiang Yuan into the camp.

"Young friend, how is your recovery going!" The elder was still in a wheelchair, but compared to before, he was now much more energetic.

Jiang Yuan did not deny it, but said, "I'm sure you've heard a lot of rumors, so I'm here today to ask for your opinion!"

"Ya'er, take this young lady down for tea. Remember to treat her well. I have a few words to say to my young friend!" The elder instructed Shangguan Ya, seemingly not wanting her and Liu Zhaodi to know too much about the inside story.

"Grandpa, is there anything I can't listen to?" Shangguan Ya said sullenly.

The elder simply smiled and said, "Alright, you can stay and listen. While you're at it, you can also arrange your marriage partner. Anyway, several prominent families have arranged marriages with my Northern City Alliance these past few days..."

"Stop! I have something to do, so I won't keep you company any longer!" Shangguan Ya patted Liu Zhaodi on the shoulder and said familiarly, "Miss Liu, let me show you around our North City Alliance!"

"Go ahead!" Jiang Yuan gestured for Liu Zhaodi to leave first.

"Then I'll wait for you outside. Remember to call me when you leave!" Although Liu Zhaodi was dissatisfied, she still obediently left.
