I Simulate Survival in a Wasteland World

In the future, Earth is no longer habitable due to thermonuclear war, world-ending earthquakes, tectonic plate shifts, species extinction, and psionic awakenings...

Qin Che, an ordinary perso...

Chapter 240 The Eighteenth Simulation! The Fourth Stage of Transcendentality?

"These underwater people are also technologically advanced, and tracing their history, it turns out that it is not long after the founding of the empire."

Li Xin told Qin Che everything he had found out.

Qin Che also exchanged information with Li Xin, sharing the clues he had gleaned from what he had seen underground in the Black Tide.

"This glacier was probably swallowed up by the Black Tide because of a natural disaster. The Empire was devoured by psionic energy because they were too advanced and greedy."

Human nature is inherently greedy and unpredictable.

Although there is currently no evidence to support Qin Che's speculation.

But it's already pretty close to being true.

"Master, according to what you're saying, wouldn't it be very beneficial for us if we could bring back the psionic ore from the Imperial Ruins?" Little Stone's eyes were shining.

Qin Che nodded: "It seems so at the moment, but we know too little about the Empire and our research on psionic energy is too superficial. We need to investigate carefully, take it slow, and not rush."

...

Qin Che decided to take a proper rest.

Once the outpost is established, another psionic expedition team will be formed to enter the ice field for the third time.

Time flies.

He knew that the fortress would take time to build.

But now that the one-year deadline has passed, he will begin his eighteenth simulation!

[Wasteland survival simulator in progress.]

Opening his eyes, Qin Che found himself at the outpost.

This time, he was determined to go alone and go in again in the simulator.

He wanted to delve deep into the empire's borders to investigate the situation there, so he did his homework first.

In case there are any dangers within the ruins of the empire, he can prepare in advance to deal with them and at least avoid unnecessary losses in the real world.

Qin Che packed his luggage, bid farewell to everyone, and set off.

He knew the way well, followed the old road to the hunter's outpost, rested there for a few days, and then set off north to the first city, Bow City.

Qin Che was teleporting the whole way.

However, while shifting his position, he also preserved some of his psionic energy, preventing himself from being easily depleted.

Before long, following the route marked on the electronic map, Qin Che saw a huge city standing on the horizon.

The first city in the southern part of the empire, the border town of Bow City.

Aside from encountering some ghost soldiers along the way, Qin Che did not face any major dangers.

He can handle it all by himself.

But when he arrived at Bow City, he discovered that there were a great many ghost soldiers, filling the entire city.

In fact, some of the auras made him feel wary and dangerous.

Those were a large number of second-stage Yin generals.

Although these ghost soldiers did not possess any extraordinary characteristics, they were all experts in cultivating spiritual energy.

Yin Jiang can even fly through the air, transcending the ordinary and reaching a terrifying level in both strength and speed.

Qin Che had thought more than once how wonderful it would be if he could have such an army.

The war in Central Plains had nothing to do with the Mechanicus and the Iron Beasts.

It should be over soon.

Unfortunately, the ghost soldiers are not under his control, and killing them is too inefficient.

Even if these ghost soldiers die and their psionic energy dissipates, they will only turn into a pile of bones. Their equipment has long since rotted and is completely unusable.

Qin Che did not intend to confront these ghost soldiers head-on.

He concealed his presence, intending to bypass Bow City.

However, on the way, countless Yin generals suddenly took off and approached Qin Che.

Qin Che was shocked.

I've already concealed my aura, yet these Yin Generals are only at the second stage, but their perception is so sharp...

He frowned in response, and suddenly a dozen figures flew in from not far ahead. They were all rotting corpses, emaciated, yet extremely powerful.

Their psychic energy was radiating outwards. Although the aura of the Great Transcendent Ones couldn't affect Qin Che, it still surprised him.

The ghostly soldiers and generals, lacking the ability to think, were attracted to him simply because they mistook him, their Master, for a psionic sun.

Qin Che could probably understand that no matter how he tried to avoid it, he couldn't escape the attacks of the Yin soldiers.

This shows that they are inherently sensitive to psionic energy.

There's no other way but to fight.

...

Qin Che killed all the dozen or so Yin generals in front of him, which attracted Yin soldiers who chased after him and surrounded him.

Qin Che instantly teleported away from the city limits of Bow City and hid in the distance.

He concluded in his mind that, based on what he had learned, the Yin soldiers and generals were extremely sensitive to spiritual energy, and they did not distinguish between strong and weak ones. They regarded Qin Che as a spiritual energy sun, and the more dazzling he was, the more greedily they wanted him.

Qin Che decided to stay in the city, dealing with the ghost soldiers while investigating the situation to see if there was any worthwhile inheritance to take.

Bow City was, after all, a place they had to pass through.

But there was nothing in the city except for some warehouses, which were stockpiled with a large number of psionic stones.

Qin Che easily sensed these stones; they were stored underground, inaccessible to the Yin soldiers and generals.

Even with his powerful senses, he almost missed this spot.

Qin Che broke through the earth, entered the warehouse, and swept all the spirit stones inside.

The architecture of the empire is unique, magnificent and beautiful. The skyscrapers reminded Qin Che of his previous life, but the buildings here are even more majestic and imposing than those in his previous life.

Unfortunately, there was no factory, and the things in the warehouse were all rotten and completely unusable.

There wasn't much of the old stuff in the building anymore.

Although he couldn't understand some of the manuals, Qin Che knew that they were actually useless.

It doesn't contain as much information as the underwater sage recorded in Li Xin's recorder.
