"No," Cheng Qi shook her head. Her panic vanished the moment Gu Rongqi interrupted her.

Noticing Gu Rongqi's occasional worried glances still directed at her, Cheng Qicai felt a surge of emotion welling up inside her. She mumbled, "It's really nothing, I'm just a little sleepy."

That's true. Cheng Qicai went to bed late yesterday and got up early today. After a busy day, she started to feel sleepy as soon as she relaxed in the car.

"If you feel sleepy, you can take a nap in the car. It's still a bit far to get home, I'll wake you up when we get there."

Listening to Gu Rongqi's gentle voice, Cheng Qicai leaned back in her chair and felt her eyelids getting heavy. Slowly, her eyelids closed.

Gu Rongqi heard the steady, long breathing coming from beside him, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly.

He slowed down the car to make it run more smoothly.

The car stopped at the entrance of Cheng Qicai residential area.

Gu Rongqi didn't wake her up immediately. Instead, he quietly watched her sleeping face for a while. After an unknown amount of time, he slowly reached out his hand and stopped a few centimeters away from her face.

After pausing for a moment, she finally withdrew her hand, took out her phone from her bag, and took a picture of Cheng Qicai's sleeping face.

Just as he withdrew his hand, Cheng Qicai's curled eyelashes fluttered a few times. She slowly opened her eyes, propped herself up, and looked out the window in a daze. "Have we arrived?"

Her lazy voice sounded soft and sweet, just like the donkey roll she had eaten that time.

His tongue unconsciously licked the tip of his teeth, and he turned off his phone screen with a normal expression, softly saying "Hmm," "Just arrived, I was just about to call you."
