Although Youyou thought the soul beast was a very self-controlled creature and probably wouldn't actually eat Qiu Zhang whole, she still wanted to talk to it just in case. After all, a teacher drooling over a student... the image was indeed a bit incongruous.

Unfortunately, before she could talk to the soul beast, she caused other trouble first.

"Sect Master, something terrible has happened!" As soon as they entered the main hall, a disciple rushed in to report, "Lord Fenze and the newly arrived Soul Master are fighting!"

"What?" Youyou was startled. A little monster?

Before she could think it through, a loud boom resounded, like something exploding, accompanied by flashes of light from an array. She had no choice but to turn around and walk out.

As soon as I stepped outside, I looked up and saw a huge, snow-white beast in the sky. Who else could it be but the little monster? It had completely transformed back into its original form, its body as large as a mountain. It seemed extremely angry, and the mane on its neck, which looked like flames, was wildly whipping forward.

On its opposite side, vast swaths of Yin energy were spreading, and within the Yin energy, a soul beast stared coldly at the Burning Swamp ahead. It did not revert to its original form, but the increasingly dense Yin energy around it blocked all of the opponent's attacks.

"What's going on?" Youyou stepped forward and walked into the crowd below to ask.

"Sect Master..." The disciples bowed before replying, "We don't know why, but when Lord Fenze brought back a spirit beast, he heard that the Sect Master had brought back a Soul Beast Master, and it suddenly got angry! By the time we arrived, it was already fighting with the Soul Beast Master."

roar……

Before Youyou could ask any further questions, the Fenze in the air suddenly roared and pounced directly towards the soul beast, its claws slamming down.

"Little monster, stop!" she shouted anxiously.

Fenze ignored her completely and slapped down with his claw, but only hit a ball of yin energy, missing his target entirely. Instead, the soul beast flashed behind him and slapped a ball of yin energy in return. Fenze not only failed to touch the soul beast at all, but was also hit squarely.

It grew even angrier, roared again, and turned its massive body, trying to pounce once more.

Youyou had no choice but to fly up on her sword and stop the two beasts from continuing their fight. "Alright, little monster! You can't beat a soul beast, stop now!"

"Roar~~~" The little monster not only did not stop, but seemed to be even angrier. Its spiritual energy began to surge, and the mane on its neck grew longer and longer, like thousands of tentacles, which fiercely lashed out at the soul beast in the air.

Before she could finish speaking, it was too late. Fen Ze didn't even dodge. As if he had been injected with chicken blood, he waved his tentacle-like mane and launched a series of crazy, wild attacks at his opponent.

Those arrows formed from Yin energy that were struck by the tentacles were directly scattered; those that were not struck could not harm Fenze, grazing past its body and then... falling downwards.

The Yin energy of the soul beasts was also blocking the tentacles' attacks. Those that were blocked simply turned into illusions and passed through, while those that were not blocked missed their target and then... fell downwards.

In an instant, all that could be seen was the sky filled with yin energy and tentacles. With a whoosh, some whipped and others smashed, causing a series of loud bangs to erupt as several palaces on the main peak were blasted. Even the mountain-protecting formation did not have time to be activated.

Youyou felt something snap in her mind, and anger flared up instantly, her energy surging forth. The next moment, she flashed above the two, raised her fist, and punched each beast in the head.

"I already told you... to stop!"

Splat, splat twice...

The two beasts, who were causing destruction, didn't even have time to react before they crashed down from the sky like meteors, landing heavily on the floating peak below.

With a cracking sound, a fissure split open beneath the two beasts, instantly spreading across the entire floating peak...

Fenze, perhaps used to being beaten, was initially stunned, but after a while, he realized what was happening and stopped getting up. He hugged the bump on his head and started howling, rolling around, and acting spoiled.

"Awoooooo~~~~ You're unfair! You bastard, you're a liar... It's not even human, it's a monster! You actually kept another beast behind my back, and... and you even hit me! Waaaaaah... I don't want to live anymore, you heartless woman!"
