Chapter 264 Two Men Fight

Lucius, hidden in his black robe, looked up and followed the fat duke's gaze, which landed squarely on Su Diandian's face.

His heart skipped a beat.

She's still alive!

After the battle at sea, he and Asher searched for her in the sea for a long time, but could not find her.

Seeing that the person is still alive, it's hard not to be excited.

Lucius turned to the fat duke and said, "Say what you just said again."

The fat duke hesitated for a moment, but finally opened his mouth and said, "I want that woman."

Upon hearing this, Lucius's aura turned icy cold, and he suddenly reached out and grabbed his neck, saying, "Say it again."

The fat duke's face turned bright red, and he was so choked up that he could barely speak.

The loyal follower immediately knelt down and begged for mercy: "Lord Dark Lord, please spare the Duke!"

"Hmph." Lucius spread his arms and tossed the man aside.

He walked step by step toward Su Diandian.

"Cough cough cough..." The fat duke coughed as he got up from the ground and cursed under his breath.

His attendants advised him to be patient.

Langley caught a glimpse of Lucius out of the corner of his eye and reached out his hand toward him.

"Help...help..." He couldn't make a sound.

Su Diandian turned her head to look at Lucius, who was hidden in the black robe, and asked casually, "Are you the Dark Lord?"

Lucius stiffened, but still answered, "Yes."

"Pfft, haha, your hairstyle... um... it's really ugly." Su Diandian laughed.

Langley's pale knuckles continued to extend, "Stop...stop chatting, help...help me."

But he couldn't make a sound, nor could he convey his thoughts.

Lucius's attention was not on him at all.

"Is...is that so?" Lucius looked down at his clothes. "Then I'll change next time."

"You're here to rescue this guy?" Su Diandian asked.

Lucius nodded and then shook his head.

This left the people around them dumbfounded.

What's going on with this Dark Lord?

Wasn't I supposed to be here to support Langley?

Su Diandian looked at Lucius curiously, "You... look somewhat familiar."

Lucius froze and took a half step back.

He tried to distract her, "What did Langley do?"

“Oh, he wanted to kill me, so I killed him. Isn’t that a bit much?” Su Diandian said matter-of-factly.

Langley rolled his eyes, looking like he was about to faint.

Why isn't Lucius saving him?

Just as Langley was in despair, he heard Lucius say, "Then he deserves to die."

I felt even more desperate.

Langley closed his eyes and died instantly.

Even as he died, he couldn't understand why his good friend Lucius wouldn't save him.

Su Diandian saw Langley's soul turn black and float towards Lucius.

She squinted at Lucius, who was hidden in the black robe.

This person's dark energy was so powerful that it could even affect the soul of Langley, this nobody.

Langley's spirit came to Lucius's side and questioned him, "Why? Why didn't you save me just now?"

Lucius turned his head to look at him, but did not say anything.

Su Diandian found it amusing and replied, "Because you deserve to die."

Langley's spirit was startled, and he quickly ran to hide behind Lucius.

"Hey, are you going to fight or not? If not, I'm leaving," Su Diandian asked Lucius.

Lucius shook his head. "Can we not leave?"

His voice was no longer hoarse.

Just from that one sentence, Su Diandian recognized the meaning: "Lucius?"

Upon being recognized, Lucius was unsure whether he was pleasantly surprised or not; all he knew was that his heart was pounding.

He dispelled the dark aura covering his face, lowered his hat, revealing an excessively pale face and his signature red hair.

The moment Chu Xingze saw that face, alarm bells went off in his mind.

He immediately stepped forward and stood side by side with Su Diandian.

Langley's spirit screamed from behind, "Kill her! Lucius, kill her to avenge me!"

Su Diandian stepped forward. "Haven't you always wanted to kill me? Come on."

Lucius took a step back. "No, no... I..."

"Tch, you wanted to tear me to pieces when we were behind the barrier, what, are you chickening out now?"

Su Diandian crossed her arms and looked at him, "If you don't kill me, I can leave."

Langley's spirit screamed wildly, "Don't let her go, Lucius, kill her!"

Lucius turned to look at Langley again and said coldly, "She is my wife."

One sentence sent a shiver down Langley's spine; he froze.

No wonder, no wonder...

Before Langley could even process what was happening, Lucius reached out and crushed him.

Upon hearing Lucius's words, the dukes behind him were dumbfounded.

He quickly retreated, fearing he would be the next to die.

Mom, what did he just say that he shouldn't have said?

He actually asked for someone else's wife right in front of the Dark Lord.

It's all over...

Without a second thought, the fat duke took off running.

Su Diandian raised her hand, "To be more precise, ex-wife, ex-wife."

Chu Xingze pinched her waist from behind.

Lucius lowered his eyelashes, then raised them again, and finally said firmly, "No, you are my wife."

"Hehe..." Su Diandian chuckled dryly. Well, another one with a love-struck mind.

"Well, I came here to kill Langley, and now that I'm done, I'm leaving."

After saying that, Su Diandian turned around, put her arm around Chu Xingze's waist, called on the centipede, and flew away.

Lucius watched her retreating figure, but hesitated to chase after her.

Finally, he turned his head and saw the duke riding on the dragon's back, trying to escape.

He flashed and transformed into a black light, chasing after the fat duke.

"Did you just say you wanted her?" is an affirmative sentence, not an interrogative one.
