My name is Lu Xiaonan, and I am a doctor. Three days ago, my friend Su Ming told me that the entire world would face a catastrophe and fall, and to be prepared. At the time, I didn't believe hi...
Pu Weichao said something, picked up his machete, and got out of the car.
I got out of the car with him and arrived at the supermarket entrance. The supermarket door was half open, and a monster with only its upper body was lying at the entrance. Pu Weichao slashed down, and the monster's head was split in two.
I carried a gun and a knife and followed him into the supermarket to cover him.
This supermarket isn't very big; it's more like a small supermarket with three storefronts and three rows of shelves inside.
Pu Weichao rushed in, and within three minutes, without me even having to fire a shot, he had taken care of the monster inside all by himself, though his body and face were splattered with a lot of blood.
I picked up a pack of tissues from the side, opened it, took out a few sheets, and handed them to him. "Wipe your face; it's covered in blood."
Pu Weichao smiled, shook the blood off his machete, took a tissue, and wiped the blood off his face.
"Don't just stand there, grab the things."
He said something, and I picked up the basket from the side and started filling it with things.
There was a lot of stuff in the supermarket, but we didn't plan to take everything. After all, we were driving a police car, so we just filled it up and left the rest.
We dumped all the food and supplies into the trunk, and once the trunk was full, we put the things into the back seat.
It took us a full half hour to fill the police car.
"We've only emptied half the supermarket. Shall we come back again later?" Pu Weichao said.
"Then let's come again, since we have nothing else to do anyway," I replied.
"Okay, let's go home first." Pu Weichao beckoned me to get in the car. I sat in the passenger seat, turned around, grabbed a bag of potato chips, opened it, and started eating them with relish.
We set off to go home.
Going home naturally means going back to school.
This supermarket is not far from the school, just a few minutes' walk away.
However, just as we were about to return to school, at an intersection, we saw a person, a living person struggling.
