At 1 p.m., Hu Fei and I set off again for the police station.

This time we didn't walk, but drove. The main reason was that Hu Fei didn't know the exact location of the police station, and driving would be faster.

Half an hour later, Hu Fei said something that left me completely dumbfounded.

"Oh no, I'm lost!"

I looked around and saw many zombies, many buildings, and even a construction site—a very unfamiliar place.

Jiajiang is very big, about the size of two Wutong cities. I don't know where I am in Jiajiang right now. It's not like before. Before, I could at least check my phone, look at maps, and use navigation, but now I have nothing. How am I supposed to do anything?

Moreover, we are surrounded by zombies, so we can't stay here for long.

The car kept driving forward, with the zombies following closely behind.

"There's a road sign up ahead, let's go take a look," I said.

I was both amused and exasperated. "You've gone too far! You've completely overtaken us. We're already on the North Ring Road. How far north are we?"

Hu Fei thought about it seriously for a moment, "It seems to be very far north."

I rubbed my forehead, unsure what to do for a moment, and asked, "Do you still know the way back?"

Hu Fei said, "Of course I know that! I'm not stupid! I'm just lost, I can just keep looking and maybe I'll find it."

As he spoke, he turned and headed west.

I don't know where the police station is; I can only rely on Hu Fei's vague memory.

After driving for another hour or so, around 3:30 pm, we found the police station.

However, the situation is not optimistic, because there are many zombies around the police station!

It's so numerous it's outrageous.

Imagine a bunch of ants huddled together, and you'll understand what Hu Fei and I saw.

"What should I do?" I asked. To be honest, I had no idea what to do.

How vicious are these zombies at the police station? They're all crammed into this place.

Luckily we didn't go over there, otherwise we would have been doomed if we had been surrounded by them.

“You have to figure something out; you're the one who wanted to come,” Hu Fei said.

I swallowed hard and asked, "Can you lure all of these people away?"

Hu Fei shook his head, "I don't know, I haven't tried that many, but it should be possible."

I said, "Okay, you get out of the car and lure them all away. I'll go and clean up the zombies in the police station."

Hu Fei raised an eyebrow. "Are you crazy?"

I said irritably, "Can't you have some confidence in me?"

Hu Fei: "Okay, you get out of the car, I'll distract you. Be careful, if things get too dangerous, find a place to hide."

Me: "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing."

After saying that, I opened the car door, got out, grabbed a machete, and killed the zombie that was running up behind me. Then I decisively ran into a house that was two streets away from the police station.

Hu Fei began to lure the zombies at the police station entrance.

I saw him step on the gas, and the front of the car plunged straight into the zombie horde in front of the police station. Then he decisively honked the horn twice, successfully attracting the zombies in front.

Immediately, he began to back up, turn, and leave.

With a large horde of zombies following behind me, I went up to the third floor and looked down at the scene at the intersection below, just like watching a blockbuster movie.

Hu Fei led the way, while a large group of zombies followed behind, some running and some walking, their roars loud and numerous, sending chills down one's spine.

It took a full five minutes for all the zombies around the police station to leave, leaving only a few slow-moving or incomplete zombies behind.

I was too lazy to count or even look at them. I went downstairs and onto the street.

Upon hearing my footsteps, the zombie ahead turned around decisively. I ran very fast, so it naturally couldn't catch up with me. In no time, I reached the entrance of the police station and glanced into the parking lot inside. There were many zombies there. As for the situation inside the building, I had no idea, since it was too far away.

"Awooo!" A zombie pounced from behind. I dodged it and slashed it on the back of the head with my knife. It fell directly onto the electronic sliding gate.

I stepped through the electronic retractable gate and entered the police station. Half of the zombies in the police station parking lot heard me. I roughly counted them; there were about a dozen.

I can't possibly kill them all; that would be too much of a waste of time and energy.

I looked at the police station gate in front of me. There was no way I could rush over there; I would be entangled by zombies.

I glanced around and saw that the door to the guardhouse was open. I went in, and there were no zombies inside. I picked up a baton, weighed it in my hand, and thought it was just right.

Stepping outside and seeing the approaching zombies, I raised an eyebrow. "Let's have some fun then."

I raised the baton in my hand and threw it at the police car in the distance.

Bang!

"Damn, that's accurate!" I exclaimed in surprise.

Because the baton I threw shattered the police car window!

The sound of shattering glass caused all the zombies that were originally heading towards me to turn around and head towards the police car.

I stood still, waiting patiently.

Hu Fei is probably still fighting those zombies. Anyway, he has experience in this area, so there's no need to worry about him.

Two minutes later, the slow-moving zombies all went to the police car, and I decisively ran into the police station building.
