After the four of us were locked up, they ignored us.

In the pitch black, we untied the ropes binding the other person, thus freeing them from their restraints.

Without saying a word, we all went to the door and kicked it open, trying to get out.

However, the door in front of us was a security door that we couldn't kick open. And because this was an equipment room, there was only one small window, which was blocked by iron bars. In short, we had no way to escape from here.

That's why we chose this place to hide our weapons.

Hu Fei then asked, "How did those bastards find us?"

I said, "Following them? Didn't they say before that they found out we went to the police station, so they followed us here? This was my miscalculation."

The two of them shut their mouths and neither looked at the other.

I stared at Fei Lichao and said, "Old Fei, you say I shouldn't surrender, but do you think I should just watch you all die? Even if you could, I couldn't!"

"I'm not that..." Fei Lichao tried to explain.

I raised my hand, stopping him from continuing. "There's no point in talking about this now. Let's think about what to do next."

Jingjie said, "Xiaonan is right. Let's think about what to do next."

I continued, "I've been thinking about it. When we were in the car earlier, that guy Sanba said there was a sliver of hope for us to survive. That means Huo Cheng didn't capture us to kill us. So what was his purpose? To humiliate us? Or to torture us?"

Hu Fei said, "I think if we don't find a way to leave, we'll all die in the end."

Fei Lichao asked, "But how do we get out?"

I said, "We can't get out now. We can only take it one step at a time. They captured us, so they can't keep us locked up here forever. Otherwise, what's the point of capturing us? I think Huo Cheng definitely wants to torture us."

Thinking of this, the expressions on the faces of all four of us changed.

But we waited in the equipment room from morning until noon, and none of their people came to open the door.
