I rolled my eyes and said, "The person who saved you."

The man nodded, staring at us warily. "I...I know. What I'm asking is, who are you all?"

The young man looked to be in his early twenties, like a college student. He was very wary and stayed behind the counter the whole time. When he looked at us, he seemed very flustered.

I glanced at Fei Lichao, who stared at me intently, raised his gun, and said, "Kid, come out."

"I'm not going out, you have a gun!" the boy said fearfully.

"You're not coming out, huh? Fine, then I'll fucking shoot you dead." With that, Fei Lichao pointed the gun at his head.

"Okay, okay, I'll come out, I'll come out, but please, don't shoot!" The boy finally gave in and came out from behind the counter, looking at us cautiously.

Fei Lichao lowered his gun and said, "Speak up, who are you, what are you doing here, and what the hell do you want?"

The boy glanced at me, and he was clearly under a lot of pressure from Fei Lichao's gaze.

"I advise you to speak up. I think you heard what he threatened me just now. If you know what's good for you, you'd better speak up quickly. If you don't, you might as well die," Pu Weichao said dejectedly.

The boy looked conflicted and said, "Okay, okay, I'll tell you. My name is Qian Cheng, a college student."

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

Qian Cheng looked at me, his tense gaze softening considerably, after all, I wasn't as scary as Fei Lichao.

He said, "I originally came out with my classmates to find something to eat, but we got separated. I was planning to take a detour back, but somehow I ended up here."

Fei Lichao kept staring at him and asked, "Where are your classmates?"

Qian Cheng looked troubled, as if he didn't want to talk.

"Why did you stop talking?" Fei Lichao frowned, looking fierce.

Qian Cheng lowered his head, not daring to look at him, and remained silent.

I know exactly what this kid is thinking; he just thinks we're bad guys.

I glanced at Fei Lichao's expression, rolled my eyes, and went to Qian Cheng's side, saying, "Don't worry, we're not bad people. My name is Lu Xiaonan, and I'm a doctor. The one with the gun is Fei Lichao, and he's a captain in the army. As for the other one, his name is Pu Weichao, and I don't know what he does."

Pu Weichao glared at me.

“We’re here to find medicine, so it’s okay if you don’t tell us where your classmates are, we’re not going there anyway,” I said.

Qian Cheng looked at me with surprise in his eyes.

At this time, more and more monsters gathered outside the mobile phone store.

Gala—

Suddenly, the monster outside smashed several cracks into the glass door of the mobile phone store.

The glass door was clearly already under its own weight and would probably break soon, at which point the monsters outside would pour in!

Fei Lichao's eyes narrowed, and he said anxiously, "Let's go, let's see if there's a back door! If we stay here any longer, we'll all die!"

“Come with us, or you’ll die.” I patted Qian Cheng on the shoulder and followed Fei Lichao and Pu Weichao.

Qian Cheng didn't dare to hesitate and didn't dare to stay in the mobile phone store any longer, so he followed closely behind me.

When we arrived at the warehouse behind the mobile phone store, the four of us were immediately dumbfounded.

"Damn it, this is just a warehouse, there's no back door!" Pu Weichao roared.

Not only was there no door, but there wasn't even a window.

Boom—crash!

Suddenly, the sound of a glass door shattering came from inside the mobile phone store, followed immediately by a roar from inside.

When we arrived at the warehouse entrance, we saw that the monsters had already entered the store.

The four of us are basically stuck here.

"So many zombies! What do we do?" Qian Cheng asked in a panic.

"Damn it, what else can we do? Fight our way out!" Fei Lichao roared, raised his pistol and shot two monsters dead. He ran behind the counter and beckoned us over, "Come here, all of you!"

The three of us decisively followed him to the back of the counter.

Fei Lichao said, "We'll guard this spot now, and we'll cut them down one by one until we can escape!"

This is a good idea; with the counter in front, at least these monsters can't grab us directly.

The three of us split up on three sides of the counter. Fei Lichao guarded the entrance to the counter and began to kill the monsters that came to the front of the counter.

I mustered my courage and started hacking wildly at their heads. It was strenuous, but I had to fight to survive.

Fortunately, there weren't many monsters that came in from outside, only about twenty or so. In two minutes, we killed almost all of them.

My upper body was almost entirely covered in blood; it was disgusting.

But there's no time to worry about that now.

"Go! Everyone, stay close!" As soon as Fei Lichao gave the order, we followed him out of the mobile phone store and ran towards the hospital.

The rest of the journey went surprisingly smoothly. We crossed the road and ran all the way to the parking lot on the west side of the hospital. After crossing the parking lot, we ran into the hospital through a small door without thinking.

As soon as we entered, we all stopped in our tracks, still feeling lingering fear.

"Are you all alright?" Fei Lichao asked.

"It's okay," the three of us said in unison.

"It's good that you're alright." Fei Lichao asked, and after catching his breath for a while, he started walking into the hospital.

When we arrived at the stairwell, I saw that his brows were furrowed and his expression was somewhat strange.

I went to his side and asked, "What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

Fei Lichao nodded slightly and said, "Don't you think it's too quiet?"
