I kicked the monster away.

The mouth that was biting my arm released its grip completely, and it fell directly in front of Gao Feng.

For the rest of the journey, we were both on edge. At the slightest sign of trouble, we would stop and be alert to our surroundings, only continuing on our way once we were sure there was no danger.

The uphill journey was arduous. Although it was winter, my back was covered in sweat as we approached the scenic area!

I was completely terrified!
