A day later at noon, Pu Weichao, who had returned from searching for supplies, excitedly told me, "I've found a suitable place for us to live!"

"Where?" I asked in surprise.

"A school! It should be called a vocational high school. When Brother Chen and I went to find supplies, we happened to come across it. We saw that there were not many zombies inside. I went into the living room and found that the doors to both bedrooms were open.

There was no sound from inside.

I went into my parents' bedroom and saw that all the closets were open and there were many clothes scattered on the floor, but there was no corpse or monster.

It's obvious that the parents ran away back then!

This relieved me.

At least they left home safely.

I went to my room and saw that the situation inside was the same as always, just like the living room, without any changes.

There were many books on the bookshelf, and a desktop computer that hadn't been used in a long time sat on the desk, covered in a layer of dust.

I searched the room, thinking that maybe my parents had left me some clues, but there were no clues left by them in the room, which made me very conflicted.
