Chapter 151 Recognition

As night fell, thunder and lightning began, and large raindrops pounded down with a loud thud. Combined with the howling wind shaking the treetops, turning the house into a scene straight out of a horror movie after the lights were off. Even knowing that sleeping inside wouldn't be dangerous, I was still afraid the roof would be ripped off, rainwater would flood in, and lightning would enter the house...

Fear doesn't diminish with age; in fact, younger people tend to be bolder.

Fortunately, the sky cleared up early the next morning, and the area looked even cleaner than before after the rain.

While waiting for the boat at the beach, dig in the sand and look for pretty seashells and conches. Although you've already found many beautiful ones, the best one is always the next one.

"Yan Han, come here!" Yan Nuan suddenly became serious.

"What's wrong?" Yan Han leaned closer.

"Look, this is a person, isn't it?"

"I think so."

Before Yan Han called her parents over, she took off her loose short-sleeved shirt and covered the naked boy with it.

The boy, with most of his body buried in the sand, remained motionless, lying face down, making it impossible to tell whether he was alive or dead.

Yan Shi was bold enough to reach out and check his pulse, but Zhuang Zhao stopped him and used a puppet to check instead.

"He has a heartbeat; he's still alive."

"Should we intervene or not?"

"The ship is here."

"Let's move the boat up."

"But how could there be anyone here?"

"Could they have been in a shipwreck? Maybe their fishing boat was blown over by the wind or something?"

"possible."

"They could also have been smuggled in."

"No matter the reason, we can't just stand by and watch someone die."

The boy remained unconscious, and his family carried him onto a boat and left the South Island.

After boarding the ship, Yan Shi contacted Catherine via video call. Catherine looked at the caller ID for a long time but couldn't figure it out. She could only wait for Yan Shi to take a look himself.

They were back on land in less than an hour, and Catherine was driving over to give them a ride back.

"How about it?"

"It should be a coma caused by the impact. His vital signs are fine, and he should have woken up by now."

"It's nothing."

"It's okay, just wait until you wake up."

Two hours later, they arrived at their destination, and Zhuang Zhao carried the boy back.

Zhuang Zhao was very reluctant; he preferred to send the boy to Catherine's Clinic for professional care.

Yan Nuan disagreed.

“I discovered the person, so I have the authority to make the decision.”

“This isn’t a cat or dog, and you’re not its owner, so you don’t have the right to decide.”

“Just take it back.” Yan Nuan immediately changed her tone.

Yan Shi understood his daughter's feelings; it was simply because the boy was handsome and she wanted him to see her first thing when he woke up.

"But we can only put him in the storage room and cannot be alone with him. At present, we cannot judge his danger level. Don't forget, previous terrorist groups also had children of this age."

"We can't see through good and evil at a glance, so we must protect ourselves when doing good deeds."

"I know, I'll be careful."

Zhuang Zhao was worried about his daughter, so he had the puppet beast monitor the boy 24 hours a day.

Three days later, the boy finally woke up.

The first thing he did when he woke up wasn't to be surprised at where he was, but to rush into the bathroom and pour a basin of water over himself.

Yan Nuan had been keeping an eye on the boy's situation. Her room was next to the storage room where the boy was. When she heard the noise, she rushed out immediately and saw the boy staggering and then rushing into the bathroom at great speed. He first plunged into the water she had just prepared for soaking his feet, and a few seconds later he poured the water over himself.

"Hi~ You're awake. I'm the one who picked you up. Um, is there anything I can do for you?" Yan Han greeted the boy while leaning against the door frame.

Luckily, I dressed him in a short-sleeved shirt and shorts beforehand, otherwise he would have been completely exposed.

The boy stared at her for a while, then suddenly smiled and said something in a language that Yan Nuan couldn't understand at all.

Yan Nuan blinked and met his eyes.

Based on her more than ten years of learning experience, what he was speaking was definitely not the language of those major countries; it was either a minor language or a non-human language, such as that of aliens.

alien!

Yan Nuan immediately closed the door and turned to call her parents over.

We can't let the aliens get away.

Everyone came over at the sound, and remained silent as they looked at the boy sitting on the ground, soaking wet.

"This isn't an alien, is it?"

"That's possible. Nobody says aliens have to look different from humans."

"That's true."

"Also, I can't understand what he's saying," Yan Nuan said, raising her little hand to report.

Suddenly surrounded by onlookers, the boy visibly panicked, backing away and curling up, scooping up the remaining water in the basin with his hand, looking scared but unwilling to let go.

"Get him another basin of water," Yan Shi said to Zhuang Zhao.

Zhuang Zhao immediately understood and instructed the puppet to fill a large basin with water and place it in front of the boy.

The boy dragged the basin of water backward, and water spilled out of the basin. He hurriedly tried to catch it with his hands, but not only did he fail to catch it, he also lost his balance and fell to the ground, looking extremely pitiful.

Yan Nuan chuckled. This person was like a little animal—cute, clumsy, and wary of humans.

Yan Nuan stepped forward, stretched out her hand in front of him, and beckoned him with her finger.

The boy tilted his head, not understanding what she was going to do.

Yan Nuan gave up trying to communicate and helped him stand up with both hands.

So he's about the same height as her, and probably not very old either.

"Would you like something to eat?"

The boy looked at her with a puzzled expression.

Yan Nuan made a gesture as if she was eating something.

The boy thought for a moment, then nodded vigorously.

Yan Shi watched the interaction between the two and hesitated whether to let Yan Nuan interact with the boy whose identity was unknown.

When Catherine examined the boy, she also drew a vial of blood. She called him this morning to say that the boy's gene sequence is slightly different from the common human gene sequence. According to the gene sequence, the boy cannot even be considered human.
