A few days later, everyone was still busy, especially Chen Kaiming, who left early and returned late every day. Although he was extremely busy, he also looked very tired.

So he quickly chased after him and saw a fat man wearing a headscarf running desperately through the streets of the shantytown. Lu Yuan quickly stepped forward and blocked the fat man's shoulder.

"No, no, no! Please don't kill me! I'll give you money! I'll give you as much as you want, please don't kill me!" Zhu Pangzi, who had fallen to the ground, immediately knelt down and begged for mercy.

Seeing Zhu Pangzi's actions, Lu Yuan shook his head and smiled wryly, saying softly, "Alright, get up quickly. It's me, Lu Yuan. Look how scared you are!"

After Lu Yuan gave his location, the other party hung up the phone. After waiting for about ten minutes, a man wearing a black coat and a hat, with a cigarette in his mouth, slowly walked towards them.

As she passed by Lu Yuan, she whispered in his ear, "Come with me," and then walked away into the distance.

He gently patted Fatty Zhu beside him, and then the two followed him forward until they finally met Chen Kaiming at a private villa in the wealthy area.

However, there were several other people behind Chen Kaiming, all dressed in black. Black clothing was the common choice for people in this post-apocalyptic world, as it offered better protection and prevented them from being spotted.
