When Lu Yuan heard these words while squatting in the dimensional space, his heart trembled.

"Damn it! I knew Ma Bin hadn't come back for so long! Turns out he was captured and used as a test subject! No way! I have to rescue him!"

Then Lu Yuan looked outside and saw several lab technicians pushing carts inside, while the man with thinning hair closed the iron gate, checked it over to make sure everything was in order, and then turned and left.

The corridor facade was pitch black, and there was a sticky liquid on the ground. Inside were white liquids filled with all sorts of tubes, which were connected to people who were immersed in the liquid. They looked like specimens preserved in formalin in a laboratory.

Then, Lu Yuan seized an opportunity and lightly jumped onto the iron frame, then crouched down quietly to the side, hiding himself in a gap in the elevator.

Just then, two lab technicians in white coats walked towards them from a distance, talking as they walked, each holding a tablet computer.

"Xiao Liu, several of the test subjects in the ninth phase have shown rejection reactions today. Go check on them later and decide what medication to use. I have some things to do later, so I won't be able to go with you!"

"Yes, Director, I understand!"

"Hmm! Security here needs to be increased during this period! These glass enclosures aren't sturdy enough! I'll have to show this to the higher-ups later! Sigh!"

The two walked and talked, while Lu Yuan hid in the shadows and held his breath.

As the two passed through the narrow gap, they did not notice Lu Yuan's presence. Suddenly, a hand carrying a gust of wind attacked. Before the director in the white coat could react, Lu Yuan twisted his neck with a single palm strike, followed by a crisp "crack" sound. His head was twisted 180 degrees before his eyes glazed over and he died.

By the time the other lab technician realized what was happening, it was too late, because Lu Yuan had already pressed the dagger against the other person's neck.
