So these people didn't like Zhao Honghai much to begin with, and now that Zhao Honghai has taken control of the command center, they are all trying to find a way to escape.

"Okay, I got it. Now, where's Qian Jin? Is this guy still being held in custody?"

"Yes, Qian Jin is being held in the back office. I'll take you there now!"

So Lu Yuan quickly followed Zhao Honghai and ran towards where Qian Jin was being held.

At that moment, a burst of gunfire suddenly rang out in the distance, causing Lu Yuan and Zhao Honghai to pause in their tracks.

"Damn it! They're so fast! Looks like we have to pick up the pace!"

Lu Yuan felt heavy-hearted and looked in the distance. He saw scattered points of light flashing in the air, the glints of bullets streaking across the sky.

Zhao Honghai had been busy all day, and since his legs weren't very strong to begin with, he knew he was a burden, so he pointed towards the office in the distance.

Lu Yuan knew Qian Jin, so he immediately ran towards the office.

Upon arriving at the location, Lu Yuan discovered that although the office door was locked, the windows had already been smashed.

The other person looked nervous: "I don't know Qian Jin, don't look for me, I don't know him!"

"What? You don't know Qian Jin?"

"I really don't know Qian Jin. I'm just the guy who does odd jobs!"

The other person's voice was tinged with a sob, and upon seeing the fierce-looking Lu Yuan, he was so nervous that he almost wet his pants.

"Alright! You can leave now!"

Lu Yuan had no interest in the families of these high-ranking officials who were just loafing around doing nothing, so he simply let them go.

At this moment, Zhao Honghai also ran over, panting, and saw the broken window, immediately understanding what had happened.

"Qian Jin...did he run away?"

One of the team members, a hint of suspicion flashing in his eyes, said softly, "Excuse me, Commander Zhao, we have received orders that you are not our commander-in-chief. So please disband your forces immediately, or don't blame us for being impolite!"

Zhao Honghai wanted to say something, but he saw Lu Yuan rush into the crowd like a gust of wind.

With a series of punches, he knocked all of the dozen or so men wielding sticks to the ground.

"Stop wasting our time with these people. The garrison is getting closer and closer, and we don't have much time left!"

Zhao Honghai was clearly shocked by Lu Yuan's skills; he hadn't expected Lu Yuan to be able to easily take down more than a dozen men wielding sticks.

Zhao Honghai glanced at the person lying on the ground, then quickly led Lu Yuan to the demolition team's office, only to find the door locked.

"Open the door! I am Zhao Honghai!"

Zhao Honghai pounded on the door, but the person inside had no intention of opening it.

"Zhao Honghai, we know you're here to cause trouble. We advise you to leave immediately, or you'll be on trial!"

Zhao Honghai was speechless, knowing that his identity had been completely exposed. He turned his head and glanced at Lu Yuan.

Lu Yuan took a deep breath and looked at the heavy iron gate.

"Old Zhao, move aside!"

Zhao Honghai stared blankly at Lu Yuan for a moment, then saw the other man take a step back, then rush forward desperately, and then kick the iron gate hard with his right foot.

With a loud bang, dust fell from all around the iron gate.

The loud noise drew the attention of those around him. Lu Yuan glanced at the heavy iron gate, which remained closed, and cursed inwardly.

"Damn it, it's blast-proof!"

"Or... should I ask the engineering team to come and bulldoze it?"
