Upon waking up to find so much 'food' suddenly appearing in its territory, the crocodile-boar monster was overjoyed and excitedly began chasing after the 'food'.

However, the prey were very cunning and managed to run away separately, making it difficult for the crocodile-boar monster to catch them. For a moment, it didn't know which one to catch.

Finally, it saw a woman with a scent that it really liked, so it decided to catch her and eat her.

While Yue Jiu was being dragged along by Lao Hei, she still had time to look back at the crocodile-boar monster chasing them. However, for some reason, she noticed that the crocodile-boar monster seemed to have a great interest in her, because as it caught up, it kept sniffing the places she passed, as if it were smelling something.

Yue Jiu Nian sat on a tree branch and looked at the crocodile-boar monster throwing a tantrum under the tree.

After Yue Jiu Nian jumped onto the big tree, the crocodile-boar monster began angrily ramming its body against the tree, trying to knock it down and make Yue Jiu Nian fall.

It must have been so hungry that when it saw the 'meat' that was almost in its mouth, it suddenly flew up to the tree and became very angry!

Even when Yue Jiu saw the tree she was standing on swaying precariously after being hit by the crocodile-boar monster, she wasn't worried. She was very confident and certain that she wouldn't fall. She even had the mood to provoke the crocodile-boar monster.

"Hey~ Why do you always crash into trees? If you're so capable, why don't you climb one yourself?"

It's unclear whether the crocodile-boar monster could understand Yue Jiu Nian's words, but when it heard them, it became even angrier and actually tried to climb the tree!

As we all know, pigs can't climb trees, but some crocodiles can. So after Yue Jiu Nian said that provocative thing, he began to look forward to the extremely angry monster climbing up the tree to play with it.

And this crocodile-boar monster really did not disappoint Yue Jiu Nian's expectations, because after hearing Yue Jiu Nian's words, it began to use its crocodile claws to grab the tree trunk and try to climb the tree!

The crocodile-boar monster was struggling to climb the tree, but as soon as Yue Jiu said those words, it stopped climbing and went back to the ground to start banging its head against the tree again.

Seeing this, Yue Jiu Nian became even more certain that the thing underground could understand human speech, so she guessed that it was probably a monster that had gained sentience.

She looked at the monster and said, "Alright, stop crashing. Let's talk. Actually, I'm not human either. I think we might be able to talk."

As she spoke, she reached up and wiped her face, instantly reverting to Jiang Nian's appearance.
