"Ugh~ You stink, you really are something else."

The smell emanating from a scorpion that had been roasted alive was extremely unpleasant, and Yue Jiuzai found it repulsive.

The tomb walls on both sides were damp, and the further you went, the colder it felt inside became. Yue Jiuzai felt very uncomfortable as soon as he entered the left tomb passage.

The tomb passage wasn't very long; after walking for about ten minutes, they reached the end. However, the end of the passage was a large, man-made space filled with many strange statues.

In the middle of the cave was a stone table, also made of stone. On the table were several stone wine cups and a wine pot. There were also several stone chairs next to it. There are three strange statues in total. One is a normal human figure, an old man with a Taoist-like demeanor sitting on a stone chair, holding a wine cup in his hand.

The other two are quite bizarre. One is a fierce-looking demon, and the other is a ferocious-looking beast. The difference is that this beast has a human body and an animal head, but its body shape is still very human. All three statues are holding wine glasses and are facing each other, toasting each other, as if they are having a party and drinking. This is very puzzling.

On both sides of the stone table, there are many strange statues. However, the statues are divided into two factions. The statues on the side of the evil spirits are all blue-faced, fanged, and terrifying-looking ghosts.

On the other side of the beasts are also a group of beasts. However, these beasts are like monsters that have only recently become sentient. They are all half-human and half-demon, and their appearances and expressions are very strange.

After Lao Hei led his team into the area, he stood a little distance away from the stone table. He reached out and nudged Jiang Yan, saying, "Kid, it's your turn."

Jiang Yan was pushed out without knowing anything. Looking at the strange statues inside, he was completely bewildered and said, "Me? What can I do?"

As he spoke, he tentatively took a few steps forward. But when he got some distance from the stone table, the beast statue closest to him suddenly started to move on its own, though it only moved slightly!

"ah!"

Jiang Yan saw the statue move, and he was startled. He tried to run back to the group, but Uncle Zhao grabbed him and said in a gloomy tone, "Why are you running? Do you think you can run away?"

As Uncle Zhao spoke, he took out a stone and smashed it onto the stone table opposite. The stone hit a wine glass with a 'thud,' and then the stone table made a 'boom' sound. Immediately afterward, the entire stone table started moving on its own, heading towards the group!

When Lao Hei and the others saw the stone table approaching, they all took a few steps back, except for Uncle Zhao, who was still holding onto Jiang Yan.

When Jiang Yan saw the stone table approaching, he roughly guessed that the mechanism here had been activated. He suppressed his fear and tried to break free from Uncle Zhao's hand, saying, "Let go, let go! What do you want me to do?"

Uncle Zhao saw the stone table approaching, so he pulled out a knife, grabbed Jiang Yan, and tried to bleed him, but was stopped by Lao Hei, who said, "Wait, why aren't the stone statues moving this time?"

As he spoke, he turned his head to examine the stone statue in front of him.

Upon hearing this, Uncle Zhao looked up, frowned, and said, "Something seems a bit off, but no matter what, we have to get through this first."

As he spoke, he grabbed Jiang Yan and tried to draw his blood with a knife, but Jiang Yan was unwilling and struggled. During the struggle, Jiang Yan saw some strange black marks on the stone table, which looked like bloodstains that had been spilled and dried for a long time.

"Let me go!"

Uncle Zhao was getting on in years, and when Lao Hei saw that Jiang Yan wasn't cooperating, he came over to help grab Jiang Yan. The two of them held Jiang Yan down together and then used a knife to cut open Jiang Yan's wrists, releasing a lot of blood.

Jiang Yan screamed in agony as he was bled out, his cries so pitiful that Yue Jiuzai almost wanted to go out and save him. However, she ultimately didn't go out because she felt that Lao Hei and the others wouldn't kill Jiang Yan so easily.
