As a fake half-demon, Yue Jiuling feels that living in the human realm is actually pretty good. However, this is only true if she can retrieve her original body and separated soul. There's no c...
Inside the cave, Yue Jiuzai saw Jiang Yan's blood being put into the wine pot and thought she had passed this test. However, to her surprise, after all the blood disappeared into the wine pot, all the stone statues suddenly started to move!
"Click-clack~ Click-clack~"
All you could see was that the strangely shaped stone statues seemed to have come to life, moving slowly one by one, shaking their bodies, shaking off the stones and mud, and then revealing their bodies inside!
"Holy crap! They're all real!"
When Jiang Yan discovered that the stone statues had exposed their bodies, he screamed in terror and tried to turn around and leave.
The stone statues looked absolutely terrifying. Whether they were ghosts or beasts, they were all incredibly frightening. The ghosts were blue-faced and fanged, extremely vicious, while the beasts were extremely malevolent, looking like they wanted to devour people!
Jiang Yan tried to run, but Lao Hei grabbed him and forcefully pushed him towards the evil spirits and beasts, using him as a shield. Finally, he said to the evil spirits and beasts, "Watch closely, this is your master's descendant. Do you also want to kill him?"
Jiang Yan was caught and couldn't run away, but he still struggled desperately. Unfortunately, no matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't break free.
Just when Jiang Yan thought he was going to die, a demon and a ferocious beast approached him, as if they were carefully observing him.
Jiang Yan became even more frightened when she saw them approaching, and she closed her eyes immediately, not daring to look at them.
"Yes, he does have the master's bloodline, although it's very faint, but the bloodline is real."
Suddenly, a demon spoke up beside Jiang Yan.
The other ferocious beast nodded and said, "That's right, if that's the case, then shall we let them pass?"
"Okay, then let them through."
Hearing their conversation, Jiang Yan finally dared to open his eyes and look at them. However, he was frightened as soon as he saw the two strange-looking things, but he still mustered up his courage and asked, "Um, can you tell me why you let us pass?"
Upon hearing Jiang Yan's question, the evil spirit replied, "Because you are a descendant of the master. The master said that only his descendants can be allowed in; otherwise, we cannot let anyone else in."
"Oh, I see..."
After learning the reason for his release, Jiang Yan finally understood why he had been arrested in the first place. It turned out that his ancestor was the owner of this tomb, and possibly a very important person, the kind who could be the master of ghosts and monsters.
Although Jiang Yan now knew why he had been arrested, he still couldn't understand why Lao Hei and his gang had entered his ancestor's tomb so many times.
Because of Jiang Yan's identity, everyone was able to easily cross the stone table and enter the cave. However, as they entered, the evil spirits and ferocious beasts suddenly all returned to their original positions and turned back into stone statues.
Jiang Yan was surprised to see that they had all turned back into stone statues, but before he could examine them closely, Lao Hei and Lao Wu dragged him away. As they walked, he asked them, "Have you come in here many times before? I think our ancestors were probably not wealthy. Look, there are no burial goods outside, only those terrifying monsters. Did you really need to go through all that trouble to come here?"
Jiang Yan genuinely felt that his ancestors were not wealthy people, because wealthy people wouldn't use so many stone statues as burial objects, and at least the tomb entrance would be better constructed. His ancestors didn't even have a tomb entrance; there was just a bunch of monsters, a stone table, and a few stone chairs, which looked very shabby.
When Uncle Zhao heard Jiang Yan's question, he chuckled and said, "Hehe~ kid, your ancestor certainly didn't have any money, but there are things in his tomb that are more valuable than money."
"Something more valuable than money? What is that?"
Jiang Yan turned to look at Uncle Zhao and asked.
Uncle Zhao only said that one sentence, and then he didn't say anything else. He just shone his flashlight and led the team into the tomb passage.
After seeing those people go in, Yue Jiuzai also wanted to go in, but he didn't want to disturb the evil spirits and beasts, so he stood in front of the stone table and thought of a way.
"Tsk, I'm not Jiang Yan. Even if I bleed into the wine pot, it won't help. What should I do? Going in like this will definitely alert them."
Yue Jiuzai stood there trying to figure out a solution. Actually, it wasn't impossible for her to force her way in, but she was afraid of alerting the people inside, so she was a bit conflicted.
But just as she was struggling with her decision, she suddenly heard footsteps behind her. She turned around and saw Yue Jiu Nian riding on the crocodile-boar monster, smiling at her.
"What the heck, Jiu Nian, are you treating this person like a horse to be ridden?"
Hearing Yue Jiuzai's words, Yue Jiu Nian jumped off the back of the crocodile-boar monster. She reached out and patted the monster's head, saying, "Alright, I found it. You can go now."
Upon hearing that he was finally free, the crocodile-boar monster glanced at Yue Jiu Nian, then turned to run away, looking as if he was finally relieved, which made Yue Jiu Zai laugh.
"Hahaha~ Hey Jiu Nian, how did you bully it? Look how fast it ran away~"
