When they saw that the stone statue had been broken, Lao Hei and the others looked at Yue Jiuzai with shock, probably because they never expected Yue Jiuzai to be so powerful.

Yue Jiuzai, however, clapped his hands dismissively, shrugged, and said, "Um, well, I've been incredibly strong since I was a child, you guys don't need to idolize me so much~"

After the stone statue was broken, the space behind it was revealed. Behind it was a tomb chamber slightly larger than the small one. This tomb chamber had a putrid smell, and one could guess upon entering that this was the lair of those mummies.

But now there's nothing here anymore, except for a person lying on the ground.

This person was none other than the missing Jiang Yan. All that could be seen was Jiang Yan lying motionless on the ground, and it was unclear whether he was dead or alive.

Jiang Yan snapped out of his daze after being glared at by Yue Jiu Nian. He got up from the ground, looked around, and after confirming that the tomb was safe, he walked over to Yue Jiu Nian and Yue Jiu Zai and said, "Let me tell you, this place is really dangerous, there are ghosts here, you really shouldn't have come here."

When Lao Hei saw that Jiang Yan was alright, he frowned and walked over to him, saying, "How come you weren't injured? You were the first person to come in back then. It's really strange."

Upon hearing Lao Hei's words, Jiang Yan recalled that when the venomous snakes ran out, he tried to escape back in the chaos, but Lao Hei grabbed him and stuffed him into the tomb. It wasn't until they were all inside that they discovered the mummified corpses, and that's when they ran out. And when they ran, no one thought of taking him with them.

Recalling this, he lowered his head and moved a little away from Old Black, saying, "I... I don't know either. I was so scared I fainted. When I woke up, I saw you guys. How would I know?"

Yue Jiu Nian could tell that Jiang Yan was afraid of Lao Hei, so she pulled Jiang Yan behind her and said, "Alright, isn't it better that he's alright? Do you want him to die with your brothers?
