When Wu Jing received the message, she was with her colleagues, so she immediately arranged for a large truck to track the address Yue Jiuling had given her.

After sending the message, Yue Jiuling and Ya Zi stood behind Master Li, waiting for Wu Jing and the others to arrive. They did not intend to make a move; they just wanted to stay here and wait for Wu Jing to bring her people.

Their plan was good, but it didn't go very smoothly. The reason was that while Yue Jiuling and Ya Zi were guarding Master Li, Yue Jiuling's phone suddenly rang!

"Who?! Who are you?! Show yourself!"

The sudden ringing startled Master Li, who was undergoing surgery. After realizing that the ringing did not come from his own phone, Master Li also noticed that something else had appeared in the basement.

When Yue Jiuling heard the ringtone, she realized that she had forgotten to turn off the mute function.

However, she didn't feel any regret about being exposed. She just sighed softly behind Master Li, saying with a hint of helplessness, "Sigh~ I was discovered so quickly. This is really no fun at all~"

After saying that, she didn't care how frightened Master Li was. She just took out her phone, checked it, and answered the call: "Hello, it's you guys. Oh, come back soon if there's nothing else."

The caller was Yue Jiu Nian and the others. They were coming back soon, so they called Yue Jiu Ling in advance to let her know.

Hearing the sounds that came out, and the ringing of the bell, Master Li knew that a woman had entered his basement.

As he spoke, he turned the small jar upside down and began chanting a spell. In less than a second, two dark wisps of smoke came out of the jar and transformed into two ghosts, one a small ghost and the other a large ghost.

This Master Li is clever; knowing he can't see people, he lets ghosts see them.

The big ghost was a male ghost. It looked like he had hanged himself, with a long hemp rope around his neck. His face was pale, and he stared with dead fish eyes. His tongue was also sticking out very long.

The little boy was only a few months old. His whole body was covered in black burn marks, and he looked disgusting.

When Yue Jiuling saw the two ghosts, before she could even complain about their ugliness, she was frightened by the little ghost's loud wailing.

Wow!

For some reason, the little devil started crying as soon as he saw Yue Jiuling, and while crying, he tried to crawl back into the little jar.

Yue Jiuling was a little confused when she saw him crying. She said, bewildered, "Hey old man, is your ghost any good? I haven't even started hitting him yet, why is he already crying?"

Ya Zi wanted to laugh at the scene, but he held back because he didn't want Master Li to know that they were two different people, so he had been hiding himself.

Master Li, hearing his little devil crying, was also puzzled. He frowned and scolded, "What are you crying for? Go and beat her up! How can you be so useless?!"

The little devil seemed genuinely terrified of Yue Jiuling. When he saw Master Li preventing him from returning to the small jar, he crawled towards Master Li while crying, saying in a childish voice, "Waaah~ Master, she'll hit me, it hurts so much! She's that thief~"

Yue Jiuling and Master Li were initially confused by the situation, but they understood after hearing what the little devil said.

Yue Jiuling remembered that Yue Jiuyue had mentioned before that when she went to Boss Xu's villa to get the documents, she did encounter a little ghost and even beat it up. She just didn't expect to encounter the ghost in question now.

After Master Li learned that the invisible woman was the thief who stole the documents, he understood why he had been unable to find her. Someone who could use such advanced invisibility techniques could indeed be more skilled than himself.

"Hmph! So you're the thief. Now that you're here, you're not getting away today! Tell me, where did you hide all those documents?!"

Master Li, now that he knows the thief who stole the documents is here, has become much more vigilant and defensive. He previously only released two ghosts, but now he has released several more to deal with the 'thief,' and even released a vengeful ghost.

Yue Jiuling and Ya Zi watched as one ghost after another ran out, not taking it seriously, until a fierce ghost appeared, which made them slightly interested.

Because this vengeful ghost looks quite old, and even seems to be at the level of a ghost king, it's just unclear why he would be used by Master Li.

Yue Jiuling crossed her arms and looked at the ghosts with interest, then said with feigned regret, "Oh, you mean those documents? I've already handed them over to the police. If you want them back, you'll have to go ask them for them yourself."
