Chapter 347 The Pen Fairy

Huang Xiaojin stopped her roommate and asked in surprise, "Hurry up and tell us, otherwise how can we help you?"

"You guys, you need to help me get rid of that headless ghost first!"

Lanlan's face was filled with fear. She pointed at the headless ghost that was still slowly moving forward with its arms outstretched in the dormitory and cried out.

Seeing that the two girls were terrified, Yue Jiuling kindly stepped forward to try and drive away the headless ghost. However, before she could even make a move, the headless ghost suddenly disappeared!

"Huh? What happened? He walked away by himself?"

Yue Jiuling frowned as she looked at the spot where the headless ghost had disappeared. Ya Zi, who was next to her, said, "It seemed like something came outside just now, but it left in a flash. I guess it was that thing that took the headless ghost away."

The two monsters didn't care when they saw the headless ghost being taken away, because their original purpose was to drive him away.

Yue Jiuling looked at Xiaomeng, who was still sobbing, and said, "He's been taken away. Tell me, what happened to you?"

After Xiaomeng and Lanlan discovered that the headless ghost was gone, they were no longer afraid. Lanlan sat back on the bed and said, "Can you really help us?"

"Of course, didn't I say? Our family are all professionals."

Huang Xiaojin said proudly.

"Alright, then I'll tell you..."

It turned out that the headless ghost had been following the two of them for several days, but they were too scared to tell anyone or seek out any master to exorcise the ghost.

Because someone told them that they were already cursed, and that the headless ghost was the source. They had attracted the headless ghost, and that if the headless ghost was taken to the underworld or something happened to it, they would die too.

"What kind of curse are you under? What is the content of that curse that can link that ghost to your fate?"

Huang Xiaojin found this very strange and pressed for details: "You summoned the headless ghost, but how did you summon it?"

"That's right, we played with the Ouija board, and then it summoned the spirit."

When Xiaomeng talked about this, she looked full of regret.

She said, "Last week we met some girls in the library and they said that the Ouija board was very effective. They also said that some of their friends had summoned the Ouija board and their wishes had come true. So Lanlan and I wanted to try it too, but we didn't expect this to happen."

Here's what happened: Lanlan recently wanted to buy a new phone, so she went to her mother for money. Her mother said she could buy the phone, but only if Lanlan's grades were in the top five of her class. However, Lanlan's grades were very poor, so she decided to consult a spirit medium to make a wish, hoping to get better grades in the next exam.

Xiaomeng sought out the Ouija board to make a wish. She had fallen for a boy in the same grade at her school, and her wish was for him to fall in love with her and start a relationship with her.

Two girls played a game of summoning the spirit of the Ouija board in the middle of the night in order to fulfill their wishes. However, they did not expect that although they summoned the spirit, they could not get rid of it, and their wishes were not fulfilled.

"What the heck? You guys went and provoked the Ouija board just for this? Is that headless ghost the Ouija board spirit?"

After hearing this, Huang Xiaojin felt it was absurd. Looking at her two roommates' helpless faces, she said, "I'm telling you, can't you guys who don't do well in school try harder? If you like someone, let's not even talk about how we're still young and early relationships are bad. Even if you really like someone, you can confess secretly. Aren't you guys just asking for trouble?"

At this moment, Yue Jiuling, who was standing nearby, said, "Playing with Ouija boards? Where in this era would you find a spirit to summon? It's obviously something unclean."

Ya Zi chimed in from the side, "They usually only attract wandering ghosts and spirits, not gods."

"Sigh, we only tried it because we heard people say it could grant wishes, who knew it would turn out like this~"

Lanlan sat on the bed and continued, "Back then, we were terrified when we saw a ghost that we had summoned. We begged it to go back, but it wouldn't leave. We were so scared that we didn't dare to sleep all night until dawn when the ghost finally left."

"That's right. Later we went to see a master and met a Taoist priest who told fortunes on the street. The priest said we were cursed and that the ghost would keep following us. If something happened to him, we would die too. So we didn't dare to look for anyone else."

"Where did you find this Taoist priest? Doesn't he have any way to help solve this?"

Huang Xiaojin asked, "These days, all the Taoist priests on the street are frauds. But since he could tell you were cursed, why didn't he help you?"

Lanlan lowered her head and tidied her hair. She went back to her bed, which was actually on the top bunk. She said, "I asked Xiaomeng for his help back then, but he said he couldn't help and then he left."

Xiao Meng also said, "We originally wanted to give him money, and we even asked him how much he wanted, but he just left without saying anything."

"I see. That's strange then."

Huang Xiaojin was also born into a family of Taoist masters, and she knew that most cultivators would be willing to help in such situations. She just couldn't understand why this Taoist priest wouldn't help her two roommates.

"Could it be because he doesn't want to get involved, or is unable to get involved?"

Yue Jiuling thought for a moment and said, "To be honest, sometimes I can't guess what you people are really thinking."
