"So what horror movie should we watch? A zombie movie or a suspenseful ghost movie?"

Mu Xiaoyi was already browsing through Yue Jiuling's phone. Just as the two of them were choosing a show, the hostess came out in her pajamas. She said to Yue Jiuling and Mu Xiaoyi, "We're planning to rest now. We'll leave you out here. If you need anything, just call us."

"Okay, we understand. You can go and get some rest."

"Okay, then we'll turn off the lights. Don't worry, we'll leave a small nightlight on for you."

The woman then turned off the living room lights, leaving a small nightlight on, and shortly after, the bedroom lights were also turned off.

Just as the couple was about to turn off the lights and rest, and Mu Xiaoyi and her companion had found a horror movie to watch, the old woman they were waiting for appeared!

Yue Jiuling was the first to notice the old woman, because the old woman suddenly appeared in the living room shortly after the lights were turned off. However, Yue Jiuling did not immediately grab her, but pretended not to see her and continued watching the movie with Mu Xiaoyi.

When Yue Jiuling noticed the old woman, Mu Xiaoyi also noticed her. However, seeing that Yue Jiuling neither spoke nor made a move, she simply followed her and pretended to be 'blind' as well.

"Hmph~ All you do is bring back shady characters. What do you think this place is?!"

After seeing Yue Jiuling and Mu Xiaoyi, the old woman walked up to them and vented her anger: "This is infuriating!"

As the old woman drew closer, Yue Jiuling and Mu Xiaoyi realized why they hadn't found anything when they came during the day.

The reason was that the old woman had so little ghostly aura that it was almost as if she had none, which is why they didn't find any trace of her.

But this old woman is clearly a ghost, so why does she have so little ghostly aura? This is something that Mu Xiaoyi and the other woman can't figure out.

After circling around Yue Jiuling and her companion, the old woman walked familiarly into the couple's bedroom. As she entered, she kept saying, "You're still sleeping together? Didn't I forbid you from being together? Did you think you could be together just because I'm dead? Let me tell you, even if I die, I won't let you be together!"

When the old woman went into the bedroom, Yue Jiuling and Mu Xiaoyi secretly followed behind, wanting to know what she was up to.

When I went inside, I heard the old woman cursing incessantly. In the end, she even jumped onto the bed and started hitting people!

"I'll beat you to death, you filthy seductive woman! I'll beat you to death for seducing my son! You think you can be together just because I'm dead? I can still beat you to death even when I'm dead! Break up! Break up with me!!!"

The old woman went to hit the couple while cursing and swearing, and even jumped onto the bed and bounced around, as if she was very dissatisfied with the couple.

However, after listening to her words, Yue Jiuling and Mu Xiaoyi roughly guessed her identity.

"Ah! Who is it? Who hit me?"

The woman was probably still awake; as soon as the old woman hit her, she jumped up in pain, and the man also yelled, "Holy crap! Who is it?!"

As soon as they said that, the couple jumped up and ran out of bed to turn on the light. But as soon as the light came on, they saw Yue Jiuling and Mu Xiaoyi at the door.

"Hey, don't say anything yet. I think it's better if you guys handle this yourselves."

Yue Jiuling raised her hand to stop the couple from speaking, then waved her hand at the old woman, making her appear before the couple.

"Mom?! What are you doing here? Weren't you dead?"

When the man saw the old woman, he was shocked and even took a step back in fright. He said in a little fear, "Mom, are you a human or a ghost?"

"It must be a ghost. We were the ones who took your mother's body to the crematorium together."

The woman was also shocked and said, "But, but how could she be here? Could it be, could it be that she's the one who's been beating me at home these past few days?"

"That's right, I'm the one who hit you. Let me tell you, even if I die and become a ghost, I will never let you be with my son!"

When the old woman discovered that her son and daughter-in-law could see her, she became extremely smug and wanted to continue hitting them: "I'll beat you both to death! You're the ones who drove my good daughter-in-law away! If it weren't for you, you vixen, my daughter-in-law wouldn't have left! I'll beat you to death!"

The old woman chased after the female homeowner, who was terrified and hid desperately next to her husband. The husband tried to help his wife, but he was also beaten by his own mother.

"Mom, Mom, this really has nothing to do with her. We truly love each other..."

The male homeowner was being chased and beaten by his mother, and he looked extremely disheveled.

Seeing this, Mu Xiaoyi was both amused and exasperated. She said to the family inside the room, "We'll just wait outside. You can call us after you've finished dealing with things."

"Yes, we're all family, we can talk about it slowly."

Yue Jiuling also found it amusing. Standing at the door watching this farce, she said, "Then we'll go out."

After saying that, the two of them went out, no longer gossiping about that family's affairs, and closed the bedroom door behind them when they left.
