"Really? You can help me?"

The male ghost was delighted to hear Yue Jiu Nian say she could help him. He maintained his current shape-shifting ghost form and then told Yue Jiu Nian about his situation.

It turns out the male ghost was a construction worker, but not a long-term worker; he was a day laborer. Day laborers like him are usually paid by the day, and the male ghost was one of the unlucky ones among them.

The male ghost said his name was Chi Yang, he was thirty years old, and he died when he accidentally fell into a cement pit while the company building was being built. Because it was nighttime when the accident happened, and the place where he fell was a pit, no one found anyone in the pit the next day, so they just poured cement in to fill the pit.

Chi Yang was a temporary worker. Since his wages were settled that same evening, everyone assumed he had quit and left when he disappeared, so no one went looking for him. In this way, Chi Yang was unlucky enough to be the one to fill the hole.

Yue Jiu looked at Chi Yang and thought that this ghost was indeed an unlucky one. It was bad enough that he fell and died, but he also got covered in cement. Who would have been able to tell that there was someone in the pit? It was really unlucky that he was directly filled in the pit.

After recounting his experience, Chi Yang pointed to the ground and said, "I only hope that my body can be dug up and that I can get some compensation to send back to my hometown."

Yue Jiu Nian nodded and said, "The commotion you've caused these past few days was just to scare the people in this company so that someone would find out about you, right?"

Chi Yang nodded and said, "Yes, I was just trying to scare them, I didn't do anything else."

Yue Jiu Nian reopened the elevator doors, then walked out and said, "Emmm, I already know about your situation. I will help you. You can stay here for now. I'll go back and tell the people in this building about your situation."

After Yue Jiu Nian stepped out of the elevator, she found the Jiang brothers and said, "Call Aunt Qing and tell her that there is a person buried under this building. The person died unjustly and wants you to dig him out and give him some compensation."

"What?! People are buried under this building? How is this possible?"

Jiang Yi was very surprised when he heard Yue Jiu's words, and even Jiang Hai was shocked. Jiang Yi took out his phone to make a call while saying, "This building was completed last year, and it only started operating in March of this year. How was that person buried?"

Yue Jiu looked towards the elevator and said, "He was actually a construction worker who accidentally fell to his death here."

Yue Jiu Nian told Chi Yang everything, and then asked Jiang Yi to check on Chi Yang's family situation. She said, "I heard that his hometown is a bit poor. You can decide on compensation later."

Jiang Yi nodded and said, "Compensation is not out of the question, but our building is already completed. How are we going to dig out this body? We don't even know where it is. Besides, it's all mixed with cement. It probably won't be easy to dig it out."

Yue Jiu Nian also felt it was a bit troublesome. She couldn't very well smash the entire floor of the building just to dig up a corpse, could she? But if she didn't dig up the corpse, Chi Yang couldn't report to the underworld, so this was a bit of a problem.

Finally, Yue Jiu Nian ran to Chi Yang's side and said, "By the way, do you remember where your body is? This place is so big, it'll be hard to dig it up if you don't know the exact location."

Upon hearing this, Chi Yang said with annoyance, "Oh dear, I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you earlier. Actually, my body is buried on the right side of the main gate, so it's not hard to find at all."

Hearing that the exact location was at the main entrance, Yue Jiu Nian felt relieved, because digging at the main entrance was much more convenient than digging inside the building.

"I know the location; it's to the right of the main entrance."

Yue Jiu Nian returned to Jiang Yi and Jiang Hai's side, pointed to the main gate and said, "Luckily, it's right at the main gate."

Jiang Yi nodded at the spot Yue Jiunian was pointing to and said, "Okay, I understand. I'll tell Mom now."

Jiang Hai watched his older brother making a phone call, then walked over to Yue Jiu Nian with a smile and said, "Hehe~ Nian Nian, what does that ghost look like? Is it scary?"

Yue Jiu Nian knew that Jiang Hai's curiosity had surfaced and he wanted to see what the ghost looked like. She smiled and said, "It's alright, not too scary. Second Brother, do you want to see it?"

"Yes, I'd like to see it, is that alright?"

When Jiang Hai heard Yue Jiu Nian say that, he knew that Yue Jiu Nian was probably planning to help him 'see a ghost'. He chuckled and said, "To be honest, I'm actually quite curious about ghosts and stuff, even though I was scared the first time I saw one."

Yue Jiu remembered what happened on her first day at the Jiang family. She smiled and beckoned Chi Yang to come over a little, then said to Jiang Hai, "Second Brother, are you ready?"

Jiang Hai nodded excitedly and said, "Okay, let's go!"

Yue Jiu Nian still looked at Jiang Hai with a smile, and she snapped her fingers next to Jiang Hai's ear with her right hand.

'Thud!'

After hearing the snap of his fingers, Jiang Hai tried to open his eyes wide, and in the next second, he saw a male ghost with a deformed body, bent legs, and a bleeding head!

Holy crap!

Although Jiang Hai had prepared himself mentally, he still felt a little panicked. He suppressed his fear and greeted Chi Yang in front of him: "Hey, are you the ghost here?"
