The movie has been going on for a while now.
The investigation has now come to a temporary close.
At that moment, an uninvited guest arrived at Akira Hojima's apartment.
The man stood in front of the apartment building, looking around.
After confirming that no one was around, he used his key to open the apartment door.
After entering the apartment and closing the door, he took a clean button out of his pocket.
He held the button in his hand and walked straight into the living room.
But as soon as he stepped into the living room, he felt his foot bump into something.
"Um?"
He instinctively took two steps back.
"Bang."
He felt like he had bumped into the corner of the table.
This made him feel uneasy.
He clearly remembered that the table wasn't here.
But this...
He turned his head somewhat flustered and looked around at the surroundings.
But his eyes hadn't gotten used to the dark environment yet.
You can barely see anything.
When people are panicked, they will subconsciously move closer to places they perceive as safe.
He was in the same situation at that time.
He swallowed hard and leaned towards a place where he couldn't remember having anything there.
"Bang"
He felt like he had bumped into something again.
"Why?"
"how..."
He was very familiar with the layout of the apartment.
Especially the living room.
To exaggerate a bit, even if he walked with his eyes closed, he wouldn't bump into anything.
He clearly remembered that the table wasn't in either of those two places.
But how come the table is here?
Did he remember it wrong?
Confused, he returned to the table where he had first bumped into something.
He instinctively tried to brace himself against the table, waiting for his eyes to adjust to the environment.
But when he braced himself, he knocked over a stack of CDs on the table.
The sound of the CD falling to the ground instantly made his forehead break out in a fine layer of cold sweat.
Suddenly, a voice rang out in the room:
Good evening, Mr. Yoshihiko Negami.
What are you doing here so late?
He recognized the voice.
It was the voice of the little boy who discovered him and later tried to catch up with him.
His name seems to be Guangyou?
At this point, he no longer cared what the little boy's name was.
He had only one thought in his mind:
"Damn it, we've been found out!"
"Smack!"
The living room lights came on, illuminating the faces of the people in the room.
Behind Yoshihiko Negami, Inspector Megure and Wataru Takagi were watching him.
Kōyū, who uttered those words, was leaning against the bedroom door frame, with Conan standing beside him.
Looking at Yoshihiko Negami, who was standing there dumbfounded, Inspector Megure said calmly:
"Mr. Gensho, you really are the murderer."
These words seemed to drain all the strength from Yoshihiko Negami's body.
He collapsed to the floor, repeatedly asking:
"Why..."
"Why were they discovered?"
After walking up to him, Kwangyu said:
"Because I recognized you."
"Just when that boy over there turned off the light and you went to turn it on."
Hearing this, Yoshihiko Negami said somewhat unconvinced:
"But you have no evidence!"
Guangyou agrees with this statement.
He nodded and said:
"The evidence we found was indeed insufficient."
"This is not enough to prove you are the murderer."
At this point, Kwangyu paused for a moment.
His resentful gaze towards Yoshihiko was like a knife stabbing into Yoshihiko's heart.
"But haven't you told us yourself now?"
"..." Negami Yoshihiko fell silent.
Then, Mitsuyu affirmed Yoshihiko Negami's plan, saying:
"Your plan is indeed very good."
"The preparations were very thorough."
"Whether it's buttons coated with fluorescent paint, or wearing a mask and changing clothes."
Just when he was finally feeling a little comforted, before he could even adjust his mood, Yoshihiko Negami heard Kōsuke say:
"But why did you come here?"
"If you calm down and don't come over, you might actually succeed."
"..." Yoshihiko Negami fell silent again.
Immediately afterwards, Kousuke told Yoshihiko Negami what he had just learned:
"And if it weren't for my appearance, you might have succeeded."
"We just received news from the hospital that Mr. Furumura has survived after being rescued."
This is undoubtedly another blow to Yoshihiko's already unhealed wound.
They also sprinkled some salt on it.
"..." Genjo Yoshihiko lowered his head even further, looking somewhat withdrawn.
Even Inspector Megure couldn't stand it anymore.
He quickly said to Guangyou:
"Alright, Kōyū, let me say a few words to Mr. Negami."
"Okay." Kōyū replied and walked back to Conan's side.
As soon as he got back, Kōyū heard Conan complaining about him:
"You really enjoy hurting people's feelings."
"Not only did their plan fail, but they also revealed their own identity as the murderer."
Actually, Kwang-woo is quite innocent too.
He defended himself by saying:
"I didn't do it on purpose."
"He asked it himself, how can you blame me?"
"And I'm just stating the facts."
"It has no emotional coloring whatsoever."
Hearing this, Conan shook his head helplessly.
For some reason, he suddenly felt a pang of sympathy for Yoshihiko Negami.
The plan failed, getting arrested was bad enough, but then they ran into a professional heartbreaker.
...
With Inspector Megure's guidance, Yoshihiko Negami emerged from his withdrawn state.
