"And what about you?"
After Ai finished speaking, Kōyū asked her this question.
His tone and expression were calm, making it impossible to guess what he was thinking.
"I went out," Ai replied succinctly.
Although he already knew why Ai went out, Kousuke still asked the question:
"Why?"
"Because this matter is related to my parents."
They were probably mentally prepared.
After saying that, Ai turned to look at Kousuke.
She felt that Kwang-woo would understand him.
And that is indeed the case.
After Ai explained the reason, Kousuke said:
"If that's the reason, then I understand you."
"Tell me the details of what happened."
Afterwards, Ai recounted the whole incident to Kōyū.
After she finished speaking, Guangyou nodded, reiterating his understanding, and said:
"If it were me, I would go too."
At this moment, Guangyou suddenly changed the subject.
"But this matter is not over yet."
Knowing that Kousuke wasn't really angry, Ai looked at him and asked:
"So what do you want?"
"I want to punish you..." Guangyou seemed to have not thought it through, and stopped halfway through his sentence.
"Huh? What?" Ai asked, looking at Kousuke.
After thinking for a moment, Guangyou said seriously:
"I'm going to punish you by making you eat more for dinner later."
"Didn't you have lunch today?"
"I came back as soon as the case was over, so I definitely won't have time to eat."
What would you like to eat?
"I'll cook."
Upon hearing this, Ai was taken aback.
Instead of answering Guangyou's question, she asked:
"That's it?"
"Mm." Kōyū nodded.
This was something Ai hadn't anticipated at all.
She knew Guangyou wouldn't be angry.
She guessed that Guangyou might hold her accountable for not listening to him.
But what Guangyou didn't expect was that his so-called "punishment" was just making her eat more.
What kind of punishment is this?
Seeing through her thoughts, Guangyou explained:
"I'm not letting you go out because you haven't fully recovered yet."
"I'm worried that you'll catch a cold if you go out, and then your illness will get worse."
“You went out because this matter is related to your parents, not because you were playing around or for any other reason.”
"I don't need to say anything to you."
After explaining to Ai, Kōyū prepared to make dinner, saying:
"Alright, let's leave it at that for now."
"I'll go make you something to eat."
What would you like to eat?
In fact, Ai knew very well why Kousuke wouldn't let her go out.
But when she heard these words, which she already knew, coming from Guangyou's mouth, they seemed to be imbued with a very special magic.
It always makes the corners of her lips turn up.
She looked at Guangyou and said in a voice that was less cold and more gentle than usual:
"Anything is fine."
"Anything you did."
"good."
After smiling and agreeing, Kwang-woo turned and left the room.
...
When Kōyū entered the living room, he saw Professor Agasa and Conan sitting at the table drinking porridge.
He went into the kitchen, picked up an apron, tied it on, and said to the two of them:
"It seems I don't need to prepare any for you."
This sentence made Conan and Professor Agasa stop eating their porridge.
The two looked up at Guangyou, who was taking the food out of the refrigerator.
He glanced down at the little porridge left in his bowl.
"I don't think I'm full yet," Conan then hinted to Mitsuyu.
Upon hearing this, Guangyou revealed a triumphant smile and said:
"Just kidding."
"We will prepare it for you."
Afterwards, Guangyou asked about the day's events in a very soft voice.
Conan also quietly told Kōyū that "those people" had taken his things.
After smiling, Kwang-woo pointed to himself, meaning:
"I took that thing you're talking about."
Conan was taken aback upon hearing this.
After realizing what was happening, he pointed at Kwang-woo, meaning:
"Did you take that thing?"
"Um."
Nodding, Kwangyu quietly explained to the two of them:
"I went to pick up that thing this morning."
“A long time ago, Ai’s older sister told me that she had put something there.”
"I didn't pick it up right away for various reasons."
"I happened to have some free time today, so I went and picked that thing up."
He had barely finished speaking when Conan asked impatiently:
Where did you put that thing?
Even now, Conan still thinks that thing might be able to let him know about that organization.
Seeing that Conan was eager to know what the thing was, Kōyū guessed what he was thinking.
He glanced at Conan and said softly:
"That thing is indeed related to Ai's parents."
"But that was just a gift left to Ai by her mother."
"There is virtually no information about any connection to that organization."
Hearing this, Conan sighed and whispered:
"All right."
"I thought I'd find out about those guys."
"This kind of thing is like cooking; you can't rush it."
As he spoke, Guangyou picked up a piece of food from the pot with his chopsticks and took a small bite.
"It's cooked, and it tastes good."
There was a listening device in the room.
But just now, the two of them were able to lower their voices and cover up the noise from cooking.
