Chapter 1230 Guangyou's Surname

This statement indirectly reveals Ai's attitude on this matter.

Unfortunately, Guangyou didn't hear a single word.

Before opening the door, Ai got up and looked in the mirror.

She opened the door only after the blush on her face had mostly faded.

As soon as she opened the door, Ai saw Kōyū sitting on the steps, propping his face up with his hand.

Seeing Ai Haibara come out of the room, Kōyū stood up, walked over to her, and asked her:

Are you feeling better now?

"Yes, I'm feeling better."

Although Ai Haibara, who had calmed down, was still a little embarrassed, she was much better now.

"I really can't guess what you're thinking, girl." Kōyū reached out and ruffled Ai's brown hair.

He said softly:

"By the way, if I do anything wrong, just tell me directly."

"Otherwise, I wouldn't know how to change it."

This gentle tone and attitude made Ai feel a little guilty for pretending to be angry earlier in order to cover it up.

She said to Guangyou:

Don't overthink it, you did nothing wrong.

"I understand." Guangyou nodded, not paying much attention. He then said, "But I still want to say this to you."

“You’re not wrong.” Ai thought that Kousuke still thought she was wrong, so she repeated herself.

"I know." Seeing that she had misunderstood, Guangyou explained to her, "That's not what I meant."

He looked into Ai's eyes and said seriously:

"What I mean is, if I do anything wrong in the future, just tell me directly."

"Sometimes people are not aware of their mistakes in time."

"So if I do anything wrong in the future, just tell me directly, and I can correct it in time."

Hearing this, Ai breathed a sigh of relief.

Upon hearing Guangyou's words, she agreed without hesitation:

"Okay, but I won't say nice things just because it's you."

“You too.” Kōyū withdrew his hand and said to Ai, “If you do something wrong, I will scold you too.”

"Okay." Ai readily agreed.

"That's what you said."

Seeing that Ai had agreed, Kōyū immediately changed the subject and said to her:

"Ai, if there's something on your mind, don't keep it to yourself, tell me."

"If it's inconvenient to talk about this topic, just tell Mingmei. Don't keep it to yourself."

He was referring, of course, to Ai, who refused to confide in him no matter how he asked.

"So, you went through all that trouble just to tell me this?" Ai asked.

While feeling helpless, she also felt a warm current flowing through her heart.

"More or less."

After nodding in agreement, Guangyou added:

"However, those few words are indeed what I wanted to say to you."

“If you have something on your mind, talk to me or Sister Mingmei. Don’t keep it bottled up inside.”

Everyone has their own little secrets, and it's understandable if they don't want to tell others.

Mitsuyu doesn't necessarily want Ai to tell him or Akemi everything on her mind.

So he added:

"If you really can't say it, you can tell me."

"But you don't need to tell me the specific reason. Just say you're in a bad mood, and I'll take you for a drive, to see a movie, to have a nice meal, or to go shopping."

"I'll try to make you feel better."

“In this world, besides Sister Mingmei, I am also the only person you can trust unconditionally.”

"knew."

After responding, Ai suddenly leaned close to Kousuke and pecked him on the lips.

"After the sneak attack," a smile appeared on Ai's face.

She turned around, climbed the stairs, and left with only one sentence:

"I'm in a pretty good mood right now."

“This girl…” Guangyou smiled and followed.

...

With the past behind them, Kōyū and Ai returned to their previous relationship.

Some were reading magazines, while others were looking at their girlfriends.

After finishing reading the magazine, Ai simply put it aside, lay down in Kousuke's arms, and closed her eyes to rest.

As she smelled Guangyou's scent, she began to imagine that blush-inducing, heart-pounding thing.

I'm talking about a wedding, of course.

After imagining it for a while, Ai came to her senses and asked Kyou:

"Kuangyou, what are your thoughts on your name?"

She was still quite curious about what name she would change to in the future.

"To be honest, there really is." Guangyou had actually thought about it before.

He said:

"I've only thought of three so far, one of which is Mowri."

This is because the Mori family let him stay, and his feelings for the Mori family are those of a family member.

Although they are not related by blood, Kōsuke treats the Mōri family as his own.

Moreover, Kouyu's situation is special. The Mori family adopted Kouyu, so it is quite normal for Kouyu to change his surname to Mori.

Ai can understand this.

"The other two are..."

At this point, Kwangyu paused slightly.

He looked down at Ai and said:

"The other two are Miyano and Haibara."

Both of these are Ai Haibara's surnames. Miyano is her real name's surname, and Haibara is her current surname.

Using the surname "Mori" was something Ai had already considered.

She hadn't even considered the options of "Miyano" and "Haibara".

"Use my surname?" Ai asked, somewhat surprised.

“Yes.” Guangyou nodded. “These three surnames are the most important to me, so I was considering these three surnames before.”
