Chapter 1232 The Confident Light

"I can't tell that anything is hidden, but if you do something like puffing out your chest, it will probably be more noticeable."

"As long as no one can tell." Kōyū straightened his clothes slightly and said goodbye to Conan. "Okay, I'll head back now."

"Hmm," Conan responded, then prepared to continue reading.

Before he even left the study, Guangyou suddenly remembered something.

He stopped and turned to ask Conan:

"By the way, are you going back to the office tonight, or staying here?"

"If you stay here, I'll prepare dinner for you."

"No need to prepare mine." Conan looked up and replied, "I'll read for a while longer, then I'll head back to the agency."

"Okay." Guangyou nodded to indicate that he understood.

"But what about you? Are you going back tonight?" Conan asked Kōyū.

"I will go back, but it might be a little late," Guangyou replied after thinking for a moment.

"I understand." Conan nodded to show he understood and then said to Mitsuyu, "Then I wish you all the best."

"It will definitely go smoothly." Guangyou was very confident about this.

Failure is impossible.

He was 100% confident of success in this matter.

After saying goodbye, Kōyū left the Kūdo residence, turned a corner, and arrived at Professor Agasa's house.

...

The house was very quiet. I didn't see Ayumi and the other two, nor did I see Professor Agasa.

Following the stairs to Ai's room in the basement, Kōyū opened the door and saw Ai sitting in front of the computer, typing on the keyboard.

The sounds of mice and keyboards echoed throughout the room.

Hearing the door open, Ai turned around and glanced back.

Upon seeing that it was Guangyou who entered, she stopped typing and said:

Welcome back.

Thinking that Ai was researching an antidote, Kōyū asked:

"Why are you doing this again?"

"Aren't these two days a holiday?"

After saving the progress, Ai shut down the computer and explained to Kouyu:

"Anyway, it's boring to just stay here."

"It wasn't really a study; I just looked up some information and recalculated all the previous results to avoid any mistakes."

Without questioning this statement, Kōyū said to Ai after hearing it:

"It's a holiday today, so don't think about these things and just get some rest."

After getting up from the chair, Ai said with feigned disgust:

"I already turned it off, didn't I?"

After sitting down next to Ai, Kōyū said to her:

"I'm worried that after I get home tonight, you'll turn on your computer and keep working on it until midnight."

"Based on my understanding of you, it's not impossible."

Although Ai inwardly agreed with Kousuke's statement, she outwardly denied it:

"But it won't."

Knowing that she has a proud and aloof personality, Kōyū simply smiled and didn't expose her.

If Ai hadn't considered studying it for a while, he, Kōyū, would have simply reversed his name.

Without discussing this further, Kōyū asked Aya:

"Speaking of which, where did the Doctor and Ayumi go?"

"Going out to play again?"

"Hmm." Ai stretched her limbs slightly and said to Kōyū, "The Doctor took the three of them to see Kamen Rider."

"The one we saw at the last preview screening?" Guangyou asked.

"Um."

After the activity, Ai sat down again and said:

"It was released a few days ago, so the doctor took them to see it again."

"They really love Kamen Rider," Kōyū chuckled. "They've watched it twice already, and they're still not tired of it."

“Yes.” Ai nodded in agreement.

"I really don't know what the future holds..."

He stopped talking halfway through his sentence.

"What happened next?" Ai asked, puzzled.

After a pause of one second, Guangyou explained without any change in expression:

"nothing."

"I just wanted to say, I don't know if they'll continue to like Kamen Rider in the future."

His unnatural behavior caught Ai's eye, arousing her suspicion.

However, she didn't ask a question, pretending to believe Guangyou's explanation, and replied:

"Who can say for sure about something like this?"

"Who knows, in a couple of years, they might fall for someone else."

Thinking it was all over, Guangyou remained expressionless, secretly relieved.

He nodded and said:

"Yes, who can say for sure?"

What he was thinking just now was:

"I really don't know if our children will like Kamen Rider like them in the future."

But halfway through his sentence, he realized he shouldn't say it.

So he swallowed the second half of the sentence.

If Ai were to say that out loud, her face would definitely turn bright red.

Not only that, Ai will probably have to kick him out of the room.

It's not that I think what he said is wrong, it's just that I'm too shy.

He couldn't face her calmly after saying those words.

Not wanting to be kicked out of Ai's room, he naturally couldn't say those words out loud.

His will to survive is extremely strong.

But Kousuke didn't know that Ai was already suspicious of him.

It wasn't that they suspected him of doing anything wrong, nor did they suspect that Guangyou was flirting with other girls.

She already explained the reason this morning.

She planned to ask Guangyou about it that evening.

Since something almost went wrong, Kōyū naturally couldn't continue discussing that issue. He asked Ai:

"Ai, is there anything you'd like to eat tonight?"

After glancing at Kōyū, Ai thought for a moment and replied:

"I'm fine with either."
