In the steamy bathroom, Guangyou was lying in the bathtub playing on his phone.
He first sent Ai a routine text message saying he had arrived home.
He then sent a text message to Kaito Kuroba, telling him that the plan had succeeded and expressing his gratitude again.
Afterwards, Kousuke received a reply from Kaito Kuroba:
"How does it feel?"
When Kaito Kuroba asked about this, Mitsuyu shared his feelings without any hesitation.
He hasn't completely calmed down yet.
They are in a state of wanting to tell the whole world about this.
Now Guangyou can completely understand how those people feel when they post on social media after getting their marriage certificate and make it an "official announcement".
He also had this impulse.
If there were social media platforms like WeChat Moments or QQ Space, he would have to make Ai Haibara post something for him.
I just posted a picture of Ai Haibara wearing a diamond ring, and I only clapped my hands.
The caption reads:
"Your invitations will be delivered shortly."
Unfortunately, there's no such thing as WeChat Moments now.
Even if it exists, this photo with accompanying text won't be available for another ten years.
He appears to be too young for marriage or engagement.
There's no rush.
His idea was to finalize the details first.
After sending the text message, Guangyou flipped through the photo album, recalling every moment he and Xiao Ai had shared so far through the pictures.
Their memories included happy moments, as well as heartbreaking and sad ones.
However, in terms of the overall proportion, the more pleasing aspects are clearly more numerous.
So far, he and Ai have had minor arguments, but they always make up quickly.
There were some minor misunderstandings, but they were quickly resolved, and the relationship returned to normal, or even progressed further.
Whether it's an argument or a misunderstanding, it only lasts for a few tens of minutes, which is very short.
We've never broken up.
Compared to most couples, they were undoubtedly much more fortunate.
Looking back, Kwang-yu also reflected on what he did wrong and what he could have done better.
He didn't feel that he had been perfect in every aspect of their previous interactions.
Perfection does not exist.
All he can do is make sure he doesn't repeat the mistakes he made in the past and manage this relationship well.
A relationship cannot last indefinitely on passion alone.
Because passion will eventually fade away.
By then, the feelings won't disappear, but will gradually fade away.
As he said before, at this stage, some people may doubt whether they like the other person as much as they like them, or even like them at all.
These people think the relationship may have ended, but little do they know that this is just the beginning.
To put it simply, romantic love will gradually transform into something akin to familial affection over time.
The difference between love and true family affection is that occasional romance can reignite the flame of love that has transformed into family affection.
When the initial passion fades and the relationship becomes mundane, it requires careful nurturing from both partners to keep the relationship going.
Calling it business seems too ruthless.
But it does have some similarities to business:
—They all require management.
It is also very different from business.
That is, what a business is willing to invest and how much to invest in order to obtain greater profits.
True love is based on self-love and whether one is willing to make sacrifices for the other person, even if the return is minimal or nonexistent in the end.
As he reminisced about the past, he also pondered whether he was the former or the latter.
Perhaps some people, after learning his thoughts, will find them superfluous:
"You've already proposed, and she's said yes, so why are you still thinking about this?"
"People who have this kind of thinking are all somewhat influenced by it."
“...”
But he had a different opinion.
He only had this idea because he proposed and the other person agreed.
Marriage is a huge deal; he needs to be responsible for Ai's future.
She is a good girl.
She has a cold, arrogant personality and can be quite sarcastic at times...
They don't seem easy to get along with.
But after spending more time together, you'll find that:
Her cold personality stems from her past experiences; she's only arrogant in ordinary times, but she's absolutely decisive when it comes to serious matters; behind her sharp tongue lies genuine concern...
Beneath the icy exterior lies a priceless treasure a thousand, even ten thousand times more dazzling than the diamond ring he gave her.
That's his opinion.
Faced with such a major life event, he needed to think a lot.
To reiterate, he doesn't care about himself, but he has to be responsible for Ai's future.
Perhaps he's just overthinking things.
These photos hold most of his memories since he met Ai.
He didn't spend much time on this issue.
He soon got the answer.
As before, he was the latter.
He truly loves Ai Haibara and is willing to do anything for her.
After sitting up in the bathtub, Kwang-woo put his phone aside and splashed water on his face with both hands.
"Really..."
"Why are you thinking about these things again?"
"call..."
Pushing these thoughts out of his mind, Kwang-yu let out a long sigh, lay back down in the bathtub, closed his eyes, and wanted to soak for a while.
Not long after he closed his eyes, Guangyou felt his phone suddenly vibrate.
Seeing the caller ID, Guangyou smiled and murmured to himself:
"Why is this girl on the phone?"
After the call connected, Kwang-yu first asked Ai-chan:
"What's wrong? Did you miss me?"
