Guangyou hadn't made bombs himself in a long time, so he seemed a little tired.
Conan, watching Kōyū make a bomb, felt a mix of emotions.
He didn't completely trust this stranger, and immediately asked, "You make bombs?"
Kōyū looked at Conan, a mocking smile playing on his lips, and said, "Destroy the evidence!"
Conan, thinking that Kousuke was going to kill someone, jumped up and said, "What did you say?"
Conan's anxious look made Kōyū laugh out loud. He waved his hand and explained, "This is for protecting people, protecting someone who is important to both of us."
Conan still had some questions in his mind, such as who that person was, but he didn't ask them. He just sat next to him and stared intently at Kyouya.
Guangyou put the bomb away and looked at a small item that had come in again a couple of days ago—a capsule.
Looking at the capsule, Kōyū said to Conan, "This thing can put someone into a state of suspended animation; it's not poison."
Knowing that Conan would ask again, Kōyū explained the capsule's function first.
This capsule can induce a state of suspended animation, allowing the body's energy to concentrate on repairing itself.
While it's not as miraculous as bringing someone back from the dead, it can keep you alive even when you're on the verge of death.
...
The next day, Kōyū and Conan went to school obediently.
The only difference was that Kōyū seemed as excited as if it were his first time going to school, while Conan, though helpless, still managed to hold back.
During class, Conan looked at Kōyū sitting in front of him, paying close attention to the lesson, and felt a headache coming on.
Having been a high school student, he already knew these elementary school facts by heart and couldn't understand why Guangyou was studying so hard now.
What Conan doesn't know is that Kōsuke's past life was filled with a thirst for learning.
Guangyou didn't like studying at first, but after entering society, he realized how simple and wonderful his school days were.
Every day he goes to school and chats, without having to scheme against the old foxes in society, which is why Guangyou cherishes this opportunity to go to school so much.
For Guangyou, a happy and fulfilling day of studying had come to an end so quickly.
Conan is different from him; he finds boring time passing so slowly, and he finds reading mystery novels more interesting.
On the way home from school, Kōyū parted ways with Conan. He remembered that Akemi had infiltrated a bank, so he decided to go and scout it out first.
After entering the bank and asking around, I learned that Mingmei hadn't yet infiltrated it.
This means that Mingmei's robbery will still be some time away.
After composing himself, Kwang-woo smiled and slung his backpack over his shoulder, ready to head back to his agency.
On the way, Kōyū seemed to hear someone calling him. Looking in the direction of the voice, he saw it was Ayumi, who waved and gestured for Kōyū to come over.
Ayumi watched as Kōyū walked towards her with a smile on his face, and a blush gradually appeared on her cheeks.
Looking at that face, reddened whether from shyness or the sun, Guangyou's lips curved slightly.
He clearly remembered seeing a boy when he was a child. He had delicate features, a handsome face, and a pure and clean aura, like an ethereal spirit. That day, a passerby told him, and it was the first time he had ever heard of such a thing... Child, that's called a mirror.
When Kōyū walked up to Ayumi, he noticed that there were three little kids next to her. Although one of them was named Conan, which was a bit unusual, they weren't that different.
Ayumi, her face still flushed, said to Mitsuyu with some fear, "Mitsuyu, we saw a dead person in this house!"
Kōyū scratched his head: "Then you should have notified Inspector Megure and the others."
Conan explained while thinking, "Inspector Megure and the others have already left. I clearly saw a dead body in the bathroom, but we didn't see any signs of it in the house. Damn it!"
Guangyou then remembered that there seemed to be such a plot, but he hadn't watched it much, and his curiosity was aroused.
Looking around, I noticed a tree at the back of the yard.
Guangyou greeted the group and told them to stay where they were, then quietly climbed over the wall and up a tree.
After Guangyou climbed up the tree, he glanced into the room and couldn't find anything suspicious at first.
Conan patted Kōyū on the shoulder: "So, did you find anything suspicious?"
Kōyū subconsciously shook his head, then suddenly realized Conan was beside him. He turned around and said helplessly, "Didn't I tell you to wait here?"
If he hadn't been in the tree, he would have slapped him.
They're so disobedient!
Conan said, somewhat embarrassed, "Don't worry about the details, let's talk about the case."
Kōyū's expression turned serious. He turned back to continue looking at the room and said to Conan, "We haven't found anything yet. Tell me the general details of your case."
After listening, Conan recounted the general events and some points of suspicion he had.
After listening, Guangyou had a general idea of what was going on, and then he took a closer look at the person who was watching TV.
Just then, Kōyū suddenly felt that something was off about this person, and immediately asked Conan, "Has this person's movements changed?"
Conan shook his head, seemingly having thought of something, and looked at Kōyū in surprise.
Kōyū nodded, indicating that Conan's idea was correct: "This person might be that corpse."
Kōyū stopped Conan from going in, saying, "Notify Inspector Megure first."
...
After a while, Inspector Megure returned to the group with a somewhat helpless expression and said, "Kids, we've checked very carefully, but we didn't find anything!"
