Conan was a little confused. He felt like he had seen this over-the-shoulder throw somewhere before.
Although Conan didn't remember, Mitsuyu definitely did. It was at Kogoro Mouri's class reunion that Kogoro used the same over-the-shoulder throw.
Having solved the case, Conan, hands in his pockets and eyes squinting, walked outside the store, thinking: Alright, it's time to deal with that playboy named Shirou.
When Ran saw Conan, she felt very apologetic and ran up to him, quickly apologizing.
Conan's jealousy was already overflowing, and he immediately turned to Shirou and said, "What do you mean by saying that girls can be won over with just sweet words, big brother?"
Kōyū was laughing so hard he couldn't stop, and Conan's jealous look was really funny.
However, Ran was also puzzled because she didn't recognize Shirou at all, leaving Conan feeling extremely awkward and confused.
A voice came from afar: "Are you telling the truth, Conan?"
Conan looked in the direction of the voice and saw that it was Sonoko. Shirou greeted her, and Conan realized that he had misunderstood.
However, Sonoko ignored Shirou, walked up to him, swung her hand in a perfect arc, and slapped him across the face before turning and leaving.
Shirou covered his face and hurriedly chased after him.
Conan was still confused, having no idea who Ran had invited.
Eri's voice came over: "Look at you dressed like this again. Didn't I tell you, wearing such a short skirt, your stomach will easily catch a cold?"
A hint of helplessness and a blush appeared on Xiaolan's face as she said, "Don't always treat me like a child, Mom~"
Conan was completely dumbfounded and in shock. Kōyū nudged Conan and whispered in his ear, "Hey, Conan, it's your mother-in-law!"
Conan's shock and blush combined to create a very funny scene.
On the way, Conan clung to Ran's leg the whole time, not daring to look at Eri Kisaki at all. Eri Kisaki said, "We were so lucky to have this kid earlier. But, little boy, where did all your bravado go?" She then winked at Conan.
This was also the first time Kōyū had seen this side of Eri Kisaki. Ah, what a waste of a beautiful flower on a pile of dung!
Conan's expression puzzled Eri, who said, "This kid seems to dislike me."
Conan thought to himself: Of course. When I was little, I played with Ran and she would always yell at me and Ran in a fit of rage. My body would instinctively want to stay away from her.
The television screen next to them showed Kogoro's previous mystery-solving segment, which interrupted Ran and Eri's conversation.
However, her good looks didn't last long. The TV showed Kogoro flirting with a girl, and Eri Kisaki felt a slight flutter in her heart, but it quickly disappeared. She turned around and pulled Ran away. Eri Kisaki looked at Ran and said, "Ran, you have to be careful with your childhood friend detective, okay? Try not to see that guy too often."
Kōyū looked at Conan, who was now staring at Kogoro on TV with a resentful expression. Kōyū couldn't help but laugh out loud.
