Kengo was quite annoyed by the arrogant words. Instead of getting angry, he laughed and said, "Fine, just don't get beaten up by me and end up calling for your mother."
He then put on his helmet and sat down in the chair: "Let's begin."
After leaving the island and collecting all the coins from the machine, Guangyou calmly put on his helmet and sat down in the chair. Due to his physical condition, he could only sit relatively far forward, but fortunately the chair had an adjustment function, and with the help of leaving the island, Guangyou found a comfortable position.
Kengo shouted impatiently, "Has it started yet? Stop dawdling, kid. Get out of here before I lose my temper."
Guangyou smiled calmly, and after familiarizing himself with the machine, he said, "Let's begin."
The two of them simultaneously extended their right fists forward to officially start the match. It was Guangyou's first time playing, so his movements were a bit clumsy. Kengo, on the other hand, showed no intention of holding back and punched Guangyou's character directly in the face. Guangyou immediately felt a tingling and numb sensation on his left cheek.
But Kōyū merely frowned and controlled his character in the game to dodge the next attack. Only then did Kengo take it seriously, but Kōyū had already mastered the controls, and it was too late for him.
Guangyou's movements were much smaller than Xiaolan's. After all, this was a machine, and the operation didn't need to be very large. It was instantaneous, and the character on the screen immediately followed Guangyou's control.
In Guangyou's understanding, fighting games are all about finding the rhythm. Fast-paced controls are useful, but they are far inferior to rhythm. If you control the character's stun well, you will basically be helpless, just like Kengo is right now.
This game impressed Guangyou; the damage values in various places were calculated very well. Although Guangyou wanted to continue torturing him, Kengo's health bar couldn't hold up, and he collapsed with a purplish-blue face.
Guangyou then stood up, yawned, and said to Xiaolan and the others, "Let's go, there's no point in fighting with this kind of trash."
Kengo's face turned ashen. He slammed his fist on the machine and it took him a long time to recover. He looked back at the machine, which was now empty, hesitated for a moment, and then slowly got up and sat down next to it.
This was the machine where he first won the game. After sitting down and putting on the helmet, the familiar feeling lessened his frustration considerably: "This seat still feels the best."
Sonoko crossed her arms, glanced at Kengo, scoffed, and then turned to Kouyu: "Kouyu, you really gave that arrogant brat a good beating this time. Who does he think he is? What's the point of bullying a newbie like Ran?"
"People call him Caesar of Mihua Town, so he's very proud of himself. To be honest, he's just a small-time hoodlum, and he's become increasingly arrogant lately, even we can't stand it."
A middle-aged man in a red hat, who was also playing video games behind them, said, "Kid, you're playing very well. And little girl, this is just a machine, there's no need to make such big movements. Look at this kid and Kengo, their movements aren't very big."
"So you saw it just now, Uncle," Xiaolan asked.
The middle-aged man didn't even turn his head, still staring at the arcade machine screen, and pointed to the large screen on the wall behind him: "Well, what's playing now is the setup screen, but if someone breaks into the system and starts a challenge, it will automatically play the battle scene."
The middle-aged man seemed to have passed the game as well, and he said, stroking his chin, "Aside from this little kid, the only one who can defeat him right now is..."
Before he could finish speaking, a male voice came: "Besides that, there's only me, the so-called invincible Beihu Lucas, right, Uncle Jiang Shouminshi?"
"Oh, Shimizu Takaho, you've arrived?" The uncle raised his head and eyebrows.
Kengo, who was not far away, naturally heard the commotion. He was already harboring some resentment, so he shouted at Shisui, "You've come at the right time. I've been waiting for you. Let's have a fight."
Clearly, this wasn't their first encounter, but Gao Bao calmly took out a lighter and lit a cigarette: "What's the rush? Let me have a smoke."
Ignoring it is the most ironic thing to do. Xianwu was so angry that he laughed, and the onlookers also laughed. Although they were laughing, the atmosphere was indeed tense.
Xiaolan looked at Judy with some concern: "Teacher, I think we should leave first."
Judy raised an eyebrow: "Why?"
She was still very much looking forward to seeing the duel between Julius Caesar and the undefeated Cupid.
Sonoko chimed in, "Yeah, yeah, anyway, game consoles are available in other places too."
Judy didn't insist any further, but he ran to a racing game machine, turned around and said in a slightly conciliatory tone, "Let me play this racing game one more time, and then we'll leave."
The two of them couldn't really refuse this reason that wasn't really a reason. Kōyū was fine with it, so he whispered to Ai in the corner.
Conan was left alone, staring blankly at Jodie playing the racing game, his lips twitching slightly. For someone like him who wasn't particularly good at games, he really couldn't understand what was so fun about them.
Despite saying they couldn't stand it, Sonoko and Ran crowded around the arcade machine to watch Jodie play. As Jodie overtook one car after another, the two made no attempt to hide their admiration, exclaiming, "Teacher, you're so amazing!"
"FIGHT!"
The fighting game had just started, and the match between Kengo and Takaho had clearly begun. The big screen showed the two of them.
Kōyū also turned to look at the big screen. On the screen, Kengo's character was throwing powerful punches, and soon he had almost pinned that Beihu Lucas to the ground and was beating him.
