Kōyū swallowed a mouthful of rice, turned to look at Conan, and blinked, as if he hadn't received Conan's message.
Seeing Conan's somewhat distressed expression, Mitsuyu turned to Uncle Mori helplessly and said, "Uncle, I heard that Yoko-neechan will be going too!"
"Miss Yoko will be going too?"
Uncle Mori ignored the food in his hand and looked at Kōyū seriously: "Kōyū, are you telling the truth?"
Guangyou nodded.
Seeing Guangyou nod, Uncle Mori changed his expression and straightened his shirt: "Since they invited us, we have to go no matter what. We can't let them down."
Seeing his righteous and indignant demeanor, Guangyou was also quite helpless. This kind of shamelessness is not something that ordinary people can learn.
Even Xiaolan was eating with her head down, and although they were all family, she still had a look on her face as if she didn't recognize him.
...
At the same time, in a dimly lit room, a beam of light shone through the crack in the door, and then a figure pushed the door open.
Although the room was dark, the figure showed no intention of turning on the lights. He walked straight to the window and bowed respectfully: "Things have been settled, and the banquet will begin tomorrow."
A voice devoid of any emotion rang out in the dimly lit room: "Do as instructed in this."
A slender hand held the envelope and handed it to the figure, who immediately opened it and began to read.
After reading the entire letter, the man's hands trembled, and not only his hands, but his voice also trembled.
"Do we really have to do this?"
The bright moonlight streamed in through the window, a sharp silver glint flashed across the metal gun barrel, and the dark muzzle exuded an aura of death.
The gun was pointed at the figure, and the voice of the person hidden in the darkness remained emotionless: "Either now, or proceed according to plan. You can choose the former, but I can't guarantee the safety of your family."
"How could you do this? I...I've never broken any rules!"
"Really? I'll look into it."
"I will act according to plan, I will act, I just beg you not to touch my family."
The voice yielded. Of course, he had a guilty conscience. Knowing the other party's power, how could he possibly put his innocent family in danger?
His family is truly innocent; they really know nothing about it.
The person left quickly, leaving only the one hidden in the darkness in the room.
The person in the room chuckled coldly: "How naive. You've betrayed the organization and you're still thinking about these things. Heh heh heh."
The man got up, passed by the window, his long silver hair so conspicuous in the moonlight. After he left the room, the room fell silent again.
Not long after he left, a small red stream slowly flowed down the floor to the area below the window.
...
Before long, it was time to hold the banquet. Uncle Mori specially changed into a beige suit and his face was also very neat.
Uncle Mori, his face flushed, looked around the banquet hall and said, "There are so many celebrities here: Mai Kuraki, Miho Komatsu, TWO MIX, and my favorite, Yoko Okino!"
Yoko Okino also heard Uncle Mori's voice, turned around and waved to him with a smile.
Uncle Mori's loud voice made Xiaolan feel embarrassed for her father, so she whispered, "Dad, can you please keep your voice down? It's so embarrassing."
Uncle Mori glanced at Ran and raised an eyebrow: "You're no different, you even brought paper to ask for an autograph."
Xiaolan quickly put the paper that was in front of her chest behind her back and laughed awkwardly twice.
On the other side, Kōyū walked out of Osaka Station, looked at the game console in his hand, and said, "For the sake of this game console, I'll help you out, Conan. At least we can't let your idol's image collapse."
With leisurely steps, Guangyou arrived at the K3 International Hotel.
The hotel was not yet open, so the elevator was out of service and Guangyou had to use the stairs. As one of the hotel owners, Rekatis naturally had his own lounge.
Following normal thinking, one would choose the best suite first, and indeed, that's what happened. In the best suite on the rooftop, Guangyou found Rekatis resting.
Rekatis was a European with blond hair parted in the middle and a mustache that added to his mature air.
Guangyou carefully pushed open the door and entered the suite. Not long after entering, he saw Rekatis cleaning his gun.
Hearing the noise, Rekatis immediately hid his gun behind his back and turned to look at the door: "Who is it? Don't you know how to knock?"
When he saw it was a small child, he breathed a sigh of relief: "Little friend, what are you doing here? There are delicious things downstairs."
Guangyou sat down on the sofa and crossed his legs: "Mr. Rekatis, I came here today to advise you to abandon your plans for today."
"What are you talking about, little friend? Uncle doesn't know anything about this." Rekatis smiled, pretending to know nothing.
Guangyou laughed and pointed behind Rekatis: "Can you explain what's going on with that Smith & Wesson M500 revolver behind you?"
"What do you know?" Rekatis's smile gradually faded.
"I know what I need to know." Guangyou's smile was quite mysterious.
Rekatis laughed again: "Little friend, are you really a child? I always feel like you're not human."
