"Thank you so much this time."
Randy Hawke should now be called James Black.
After escaping the media siege, James finally breathed a sigh of relief, looking as if he had been saved from a great ordeal.
"Thank goodness you guys helped me out of that predicament, otherwise I really wouldn't know what to do."
James looked quite distressed: "Although people have often said that I resemble Mr. Hawke, this is the first time I've encountered this situation."
"By the way, do you really enjoy watching Paul and Anne's animal shows?"
"Yes, their performance was fantastic. I personally loved it, and I didn't want to miss it. That's why I came to Japan specifically for it."
As he spoke, he took out the Leon phone charm that Ayumi and Ai both had.
"Shouldn't this be available worldwide?"
In response to Conan's question, James shook his head: "That's right, you can tell by looking at the back of the phone charm."
Ayumi took the phone charm from James, glanced at the back, and saw it said "in Japan".
"This can only be bought in Japan, so of course I can't miss it."
His face wore an expression that said he would regret it for the rest of his life if he missed this opportunity.
If Guangyou hadn't known his true identity, he probably would have been fooled too.
As expected, this agent is no ordinary person.
"To be honest, that little incident was really disappointing. I didn't even get to see one of the friends who were supposed to come to see me."
James asked, "Have you seen a man with long hair?"
Guangyou replied, "No, there were so many people, and quite a few men with long hair, I didn't see any."
While watching the performance, Guangyou noticed at least three long-haired, artistic men whose entire bodies seemed to be brimming with artistic talent.
Professor Agasa suddenly turned to Conan and asked, "Conan, how do you know he's not Mr. Hawke?"
"His accent! It's clearly not a Southern American accent, it's a strong British accent, very easy to recognize."
Guangyou explained that besides the difference in accents, American English and British English are also completely different in some details.
If you grasp these details, identification is relatively simple.
Conan nodded: "Yes, and if you carefully examine the photos in the manual and Mr. Zhewei's words, you can still find differences, just like Asians can't distinguish Europeans from Americans, and Europeans can't distinguish Asians from Americans."
"You all have excellent observation skills! My name is James Black, and yours is James Black."
Kwangyu simply replied, "Kwangyu."
"Edogawa Conan is a detective."
Kouyu was speechless at Conan's antics. Why was he showing off like that? Did he want everyone to know he was a detective?
Revealing your own identity to the other party without knowing their identity is a very foolish move.
It's like playing Dou Dizhu (a popular Chinese card game) and you get a terrible hand but still become the landlord, and the worst part is that you're very confident and know exactly what you're doing.
"It's not just Conan who's a detective!"
"The six of us are all members of the Junior Detective League!"
Ayumi nodded and took out the Detective Boys' armband.
The metal armband gleamed brightly in the sunlight.
"Sherlock Holmes?"
James looked at the Sherlock Holmes silhouette on the Detective Club poster and said with a smile, "So you guys are the Baker Street Squad?"
The children clearly hadn't heard of the team before, and looked completely bewildered.
"It's a team of street kids from Baker Street who help Sherlock Holmes solve cases, and they provide him with intelligence and other information."
Seeing that the children didn't understand, Guangyou explained it to them.
"To be honest, I was born on Baker Street."
James smiled, then suddenly remembered something, and straightened up to say to the group, "By the way, it's fate that we met, and you even helped me out of a predicament, so let me treat you to dinner!"
"I know a restaurant with a really delicious signature dish!"
When it comes to food, Kwang-woo is wide awake!
Although he knew full well that he probably wouldn't be able to eat this time.
Did you come by car?
Professor Agasa frowned and nodded: "Yes, but as you can see, there are a lot of people here, so there probably won't be any seats."
This wasn't just him being polite; there really were no seats available.
James, still with that same smiling face, waved his hand and said, "It's okay, it's okay. We'll just take the car I rented. I'll go get it now. You guys wait for me here."
After walking a few steps, he suddenly turned around and shrugged helplessly: "But my driving skills aren't as good as yours, so please drive for me later."
Seeing Professor Agasa's gaze, James quickly explained, "I'm just not used to driving on the right."
"Uncle, if you're not used to driving on the right, does that mean you don't live in England right now?"
Conan suddenly spoke up.
James stopped and turned around, saying calmly, "Actually, I was born in London and grew up in Chicago, where Capone lives."
After saying that, he turned and left.
After seeing James leave, Ai suddenly asked Kousuke and Conan, "What do you two think of this guy?"
Conan: "No."
"He's a very interesting person, but don't worry, he's harmless."
With his hands in his pockets, Kōyū looked at James in the distance and spoke slowly.
"Since you put it that way, then so be it."
