They play football regardless of the occasion, seemingly wanting to vent all their anger on the ball.
Footballs don't have eyes; they fly everywhere. Overturning food on the table is a minor issue, but hitting a man chatting with his female companion is a major problem.
The people here are all rich and powerful, but the man didn't dare to say anything.
In terms of background, he couldn't afford to offend the families of these four children, so he had no choice but to give up.
The others dared not say anything, but among these people, there would always be one guy who wasn't afraid of authority.
A man caught the ball they were kicking without any expression, showing no intention of returning it.
"What are you doing? Give it back to me!"
Hideki Moroboshi's tone was full of dissatisfaction.
The man seemed not to hear him: "This will disturb the other guests. If you want to play, go outside."
Hideki Moroboshi, barely suppressing his impatience, asked in a very unpleasant tone, "Uncle, who are you?"
"I am Kenmura Nakaaki, the head of research and development for the cocoon."
As Kenjiro introduced himself, he handed the ball to Hideki Morohoshi.
"It was my grandfather who lent you money that allowed you to finish the game!"
Jiang Shouhuang vented all his dissatisfaction on Jiancun Zhongbin.
"It seems your parents didn't teach you what public morality is."
Kenjiro frowned slightly. "Furthermore, was the way you addressed your elders just now appropriate?"
"Believe it or not, I'll call my grandpa and he won't lend you any money!"
"If you dare to go against us, you might be packing your bags and going home tomorrow."
Without even a second thought, Kenjiro Nakaaki calmly replied, "Believe it or not, I'll kick you out of here before I pack my bags and go home."
The group's repeated arrogance successfully provoked Kenjiro Kazuya to lose his temper.
Hideki Morohoshi glanced at Nakaaki Kenmura, snorted, and turned to the others, saying, "Let's go."
Sonoko clasped her hands together, her eyes sparkling with admiration: "This uncle is so handsome! He's worlds apart from someone else! He's fearless in the face of power, thumbs up!"
Uncle Mori awkwardly looked around to distract himself. He was the only one among the group who could be called "uncle," and it was obvious who Sonoko was subtly mocking.
"Distinguished guests, please look this way. Mr. Yusaku Kudo, who was in charge of providing the stage design for the Cocoon Game, has returned from the United States. Let's welcome him with a warm round of applause!"
Conan looked at Yusaku Kudo on the stage and smiled.
"How are you? Happy?"
Professor Agasa, dressed in a suit, walked towards Conan and spoke slowly.
Where is my mom?
She said she hadn't been back to Japan in a long time, so she went to a class reunion to catch up.
After saying that, Professor Agasa took out a badge from his pocket and handed it to Mitsuyu and Conan: "Here, this is a gift for you two. Unfortunately, I only have two here. You three can share it?"
"I'm very happy to have it, but I can't leave them to play alone. I'll give mine to Haibara."
Conan shook his head, not intending to wear the badge, and instead handed it to Mitsuyu.
"Ignore them."
Kōyū pinned the badge to his chest and took Conan's badge at the same time, saying, "They're not stupid. Just wait and see, they'll all get in."
Professor Agasa raised an eyebrow and smiled mysteriously, "I believe you will definitely like this game, but I can't tell you the specifics; it's a secret."
Seeing that Professor Agasa seemed about to remind Conan, Mitsuyu quickly said, "Let's leave everything in the game, Professor, please don't remind me."
Professor Agasa laughed a few times and nodded: "Alright, you can have fun in the game to your heart's content."
Suddenly, all the lights in the banquet hall went out, and accompanied by blinding lasers, the only light in the entire banquet hall appeared on the stage.
A giant egg-shaped machine and a host of hot models slowly emerged from the stage.
"Now, please enjoy this next-generation game console—'Cocoon'!"
The host, looking at the script, slowly introduced, "This capsule controls a person's five senses. Whether it's touch, pain, or smell, all sensations feel incredibly realistic."
"Players will feel as if they are actually in the game world through this machine."
"It works through a system that uses electricity to stimulate the central nervous system, and it is completely harmless to the body."
The host's introduction made Mitsuhiko and his friends really eager to sit down and play, but they weren't eligible.
"I really want to play. It's better to play these kinds of games in person."
"Want to play? Easy!"
Ayumi immediately turned around to look at Kousuke, who had said those words, and asked, "Kousuke, what do we do?"
Guangyou asked, "What kind of people are mostly able to play this game?"
"They're all just kids!"
Ayumi answered without hesitation.
Guangyou then asked, "We're kids too, what do you like?"
"Eel rice!"
Genta rubbed his stomach, licked his lips, and sighed, "It's a pity there's no eel rice here."
Kōyū wiped the sweat from his forehead: "Besides eel rice, what TV characters do you like?"
Kamen Rider!
This time, all three answered in unison.
Just as Kōyū was about to continue, Mōhiko, the most learned of the three, had already guessed what Kōyū wanted to say.
"Let's find some eligible kids and trade them our Kamen Rider limited edition gold cards. Maybe we can all succeed."
Mitsuhiko nodded to himself. Without him, Ai and Conan would definitely be the most knowledgeable and talented among the children.
