"Sir, could you please give us the opportunity to dine with you?"
A round-faced man with a goatee smiled at Uncle Maoli and said, "Of course, this meal is on us."
"That's probably not very likely..."
Before Uncle Mori could finish his pleasantries, Kōyū walked straight to the table and said, "Thank you for the treat, Uncle."
"I'm sorry, the child is not very sensible."
Uncle Mori glared at Kōyū, but there was no blame in his eyes; he seemed to understand him perfectly.
"It's nothing, it's nothing. I happen to have something I'd like to ask you gentlemen for help with."
The man with the goatee waved his hand and said with a smile.
After moving a chair and taking a seat, the man with the goatee made no attempt to hide his intentions; he wanted to invite Xiaolan to play the female lead in their movie.
Xiao Lan was flattered and a slight blush rose to her face: "Can I act too?"
"If you ask me, I'd say yes. Ran-neechan is beautiful, has a great personality, and is skilled in martial arts. If she debuted, she probably wouldn't be any less successful than Yoko-neechan."
Guangyou interjected sincerely, "By the way, can we still order food?"
"Of course, please order as much as you like, don't be shy with us."
Guangyou nodded and said with a smile, "Thank you, Uncle."
"waiter."
Guangyou called over the waiter and pointed to a fried rice dish on the menu, "This one."
The goat-man slightly opened his squinting eyes, glanced at the man, and then stroked his beard with a smile.
"One of everything except this fried rice."
The man paused slightly in mid-air while stroking his beard, then turned his head and asked Xiaolan, "Miss, what's your decision?"
"Forget it, it would be embarrassing if she couldn't even pronounce her lines properly when she went to act in a movie."
Uncle Mori chimed in from the side, "If my daughter had the same persuasive eloquence as her father, I might consider it."
The goat man, of course, couldn't give up so easily. He wrote Xiaolan an empty promise, saying that once she became famous, she could meet elites from various industries and international stars anytime, anywhere, and could integrate well into the circle, as well as gain worldwide fame.
This greatly appealed to Xiaolan and Uncle Mori.
But they forgot that if they really wanted to get to know people in high society, it would be really simple.
Not to mention the whole world, in Japan alone, the Suzuki Group holds an absolute position in high society, not to mention the Suzuki Group's heiress, Sonoko Suzuki, who is also Ran's best friend.
Moreover, among those present, Conan's mother was a household name, and it's no exaggeration to say that she was once the goddess of otaku in Japan.
Guangyou only remembered that the national goddess of otaku in his previous life was named something like Cang Kong, but he wasn't very clear about it, since pure people are rare these days.
"Uncle, can your movies really be exported overseas?"
Guangyou, standing to the side, was somewhat curious, feeling that these people were far too confident.
The goat-headed man completely ignored Guangyou and looked at Xiaolan, saying, "What does Miss think?"
Hearing this empty promise, Uncle Mori was somewhat tempted and said, "Why don't you give it a try, Ran? After all, no one is born knowing how to do things."
Just as Xiaolan was about to nod, several other people at the table who knew the goat man spoke up in an unfriendly manner.
"Miss, you should think carefully. It's very difficult to back out once the contract is signed."
"Yeah, who can blame us when there's a producer here who, for the sake of making money, disregards the original work and includes a few intimate scenes in the movie?"
"Intimate scenes?"
Xiao Lan was stunned, and a blush rose to her face.
Changing his previous attitude, Uncle Mori quickly waved his hand: "Forget it, Ran, you're not cut out for acting. Don't try. You'll be very sad if you fail."
"That makes sense."
Conan's face showed a serious expression, but suddenly a hint of jealousy filled the air.
"If you're afraid of intimate scenes, I think you shouldn't try it. It wouldn't be good if you lost your life during filming."
Another middle-aged man, who looked very composed and had dark eyes, closed his eyes, seemingly lost in thought.
The goat-man, though embarrassed, forced a smile and said, "Don't scare her like that, she's a golden egg!"
Xiao Lan blushed a little when praised and quickly waved her hand.
But with that wave of his hand, he knocked over the soup on the table.
Guangyou sat in his seat waiting for the food. There was food on the table, but most of it didn't suit Guangyou's taste.
For example, some people love preserved eggs on the table, but Guangyou keeps his distance from them.
Glancing at Xiaolan's furrowed brow as she tidied up, Guangyou stepped forward with concern and placed his hand on Xiaolan's forehead.
"Sister Xiaolan, you seem to have a fever."
Conan stepped forward and asked with concern, "Why don't you go to the hospital to get it checked out?"
"It's nothing, it's probably just a minor cold."
Xiaolan waved her hand and smiled at the two of them.
Guangyou went to the waiter to pour a glass of water, took out the cold medicine he had brought from his pocket and handed it to Xiaolan: "Sister Xiaolan, take some medicine first."
Xiaolan thanked him and swallowed the medicine that Guangyou handed her in one gulp.
"Thanks."
Conan leaned close to Kōyū and whispered something.
Guangyou was taken aback at first, then waved his hand and said, "No need to thank me, we're all on the same side."
After saying that, Guangyou went back to his seat on his own, and the dishes he ordered were served.
Guangyou didn't stand on ceremony and immediately took some food from his side.
The taste is average, not particularly delicious, and falls into the upper-middle range.
