Ai was taken aback: "What do you mean?"
"It means I'm not from this world; perhaps I come from another world."
With his hands behind his head and his eyes still closed, Guangyou said calmly, "In my world, you are just a comic book, an ordinary comic book that has been serialized for decades. Each of you is just a character in the comic book."
"Then I could say I've lived for over a hundred years."
Ai shook her head, looking incredulous. "Then how did you come into this world?"
Kōyū opened his eyes, turned his head to look at Ai's blue eyes, and suddenly smiled, "Who knows?"
"I knew you were talking nonsense."
Xiao Ai frowned, got up, picked up her shoes, and walked barefoot into the tent.
Kōyū didn't chase after her. He just lay quietly on the ground. After Ai got up and left, he took out his phone and sent a text message to Narumi before closing his eyes again.
Sometimes, even if you tell the truth, nobody will believe you...
This was within his expectations. For example, when someone suddenly hears something that is beyond their worldview, they will subconsciously choose not to believe it.
He wouldn't suddenly realize, "Oh, so this is actually true," unless he experiences the same thing firsthand.
Like a dream, when I'm bored, I always think about some philosophical questions.
Whether or not there is consciousness after death.
He didn't feel anything; he simply opened and closed his eyes and was transported there, as if he had just had a ridiculous dream.
The breeze by the stream carried a coolness unique to the mountains, along with a faint scent of wildflowers.
He didn't know how much time had passed when he felt someone come over. He opened his eyes and saw Ai holding a lunchbox and handing it to him, saying, "It's time to eat."
"Oh, okay."
Guangyou got up, took the lunchbox, opened the lid, and suddenly noticed several figures in the forest.
He squinted, carefully examined the figure, and confirmed its identity.
Guangyou also saw a familiar figure, Yamamura Misao, who had previously greatly admired Uncle Mori and was known as "the number one idiot in the police force".
Yamamura Misao's appearance is very distinctive, just like Yokomizo Sango's coral head.
In his opinion, Yamamura Misao had a noble ideal: to become a policeman. However, his personality ultimately limited his career options.
Once he overcomes his inner demons and successfully changes his timid, cowardly, and indecisive personality, and participates in cases more often as an assistant and thinks more deeply, it won't be difficult for him to become a well-liked police inspector, given his passion for his profession.
Ai prepared this bento box, and it tastes quite good.
Time was short, so we only made some simple preparations.
Enjoying the gentle breeze by the stream while eating my bento box.
By the time the two were eating, the sun had already set, and the sky had donned a black coat.
The air in the wild is indeed fresh. Guangyou has said this more than once. He can see the Big Dipper and the twelve zodiac signs very clearly.
"Some people say that when people die, they become stars in the sky. Do you think that's true?"
Ai looked up, her captivating eyes reflecting the stars in the night sky.
Guangyou glanced at her. This question was not difficult for someone as knowledgeable as her to answer, but she still asked it.
Guangyou took a breath and said with a smile, "Yes, even if those who care about you are dead, they will be watching over you from heaven."
Suddenly, Guangyou stood up, looked at the quiet and deserted surroundings, and muttered to himself, "The equipment I brought can still be used."
Back in the tent, I took out the bag I had turned back to get.
Besides the tent, he also brought a guitar, which is an essential prop for many artistic young people.
Even if you can't play a chord or two and just hum a song you don't understand, you can still successfully show off in front of laymen.
The intro to this song is short, only twenty seconds long.
"The brightest star in the night sky, can you hear me..."
This time, Kōyū didn't translate it into Japanese; he felt something was off after translating it.
Beside the stream, besides the chirping of insects, the only other sound was Guangyou's clear and emotional singing.
"Guangyou?"
Conan's voice rang out from across the creek, causing Kōyū to stop what he was doing.
What are you doing here?
Within seconds of Conan speaking, Ayumi and her group emerged from the forest behind him.
"We've come here to camp."
Guangyou put his guitar down and waved to the opposite side, "Good evening."
"What the hell? We came here to find Mitsuhiko, but we've discovered he's missing."
Conan's brows furrowed tightly, and his tone was filled with worry, "Our investigation suggests he should have come to this forest. By the way, have you seen Mitsuhiko?"
Guangyou shook his head: "No, I haven't seen it all afternoon."
Conan could only nod: "Alright, let's go look for it again."
With that, he led Genta and the others back into the forest to continue searching for the missing Mitsuhiko.
Ai glanced at Kousuke beside her, who wasn't about to get up, and asked, "Aren't you going to help?"
"No need to go, they'll find it soon enough. Conan's equipment isn't just for show."
Guangyou yawned, picked up the guitar beside him, and continued singing.
"I pray to have a transparent heart and eyes that can shed tears..."
The song was only four minutes long, and it ended in the blink of an eye.
After the song ended, Ai praised it, saying, "This song is quite nice."
