Chapter 364 Investigate to the bottom of things!

Kōyū closed the refrigerator door, somewhat puzzled. Conan had been missing ever since they went swimming.

Conan is a grown man, so he shouldn't be able to get lost. Kouyu wasn't in the mood to look for him. Now that his stomach was a little empty, he had to go out and find some food.

The streetlights also lit up at night, emitting a faint glow. Walking on the bluestone path, with the evening breeze blowing, felt very pleasant.

On the way to the resort, Kōyū saw a small figure at the crime scene, and at that moment, he realized where Conan had gone.

Leaning forward and patting Conan on the shoulder, Kōyū asked, "Still looking for clues? Have you found any?"

Conan was jolted out of his thoughts and shook his head: "I have a clue, but I'm not sure."

"Inspector, do we really still need to investigate this accident?"

A sound from afar brought their conversation to an end.

"Hide first, it looks like the police are there during the day."

After realizing what was happening, Kōyū quickly pulled Conan aside to hide.

Two figures, one fat and one thin, slowly approached from a distance.

The thinner figure said, "Inspector, I feel this case is truly an accident, and the higher-ups are urging us to close it quickly. Should we really continue the investigation?"

The plump figure said as he walked, "We must continue the investigation. There are so many suspicious points; how can we just close the case like this?"

He paused slightly at this point.

After a while, as if he had made up his mind, the fat figure seemed to clench his teeth together.

The fat figure continued, "Those old men up there have rotted brains. I'll take the pressure; it has nothing to do with you. We just need to investigate."

"Investigate thoroughly and get to the bottom of this!"
