Ai is a lighter sleeper than Conan, perhaps due to a habit she developed while in the organization. She slowly opened her eyes, but after sleeping for such a short time, it still takes some time for her to adjust.
Next, Kōyū woke up Sonoko and Ran respectively.
The cabin was lit up with warm lights early on, which easily warmed people's hearts in the cold night. The staff also woke up early and were busy outside.
Given the time constraints, breakfast wasn't anything fancy: a bowl of hot miso soup and a sandwich.
After everyone was dressed, it was already past midnight. After finishing their miso soup and grabbing sandwiches, they prepared to head to the top of the mountain.
Guangyou turned around and reminded the others, "Wear more clothes, it's very cold at the top of the mountain."
After checking his equipment and clothing, Guangyou put on his headlamp and pushed open the door of the hut: "Let's go."
There were no streetlights on the road up the mountain, and without a headlamp, it was pitch black.
Looking around, all you can see are the flashlights of other tourists and the lights of countless homes in the distant city.
The only companions for the group climbing the mountain were the twinkling stars in the night sky.
It's very early now, and there aren't many people climbing the mountain; just a few here and there.
Most tourists are still asleep. If they wait another hour, more people will come up the mountain, and it will become harder to walk.
It was very dark, and even with a headlamp, Guangyou still took each step very carefully.
At 2:30 a.m., Kōyū took the last step and finally reached the summit of Mount Fuji, where he also saw the Asama Shrine located at the top.
There are still two hours until sunrise.
