Chapter 372 The sunset was quite nice; we climbed the mountain overnight.

You need to book these cabins in advance, but luckily the park has the money, so booking a few beds is easy.

These huts don't have single rooms; they're all communal rooms where men and women share one room.

Boys sleep on the lower bunk, and girls sleep on the upper bunk.

Beds were scarce and very crowded, so for comfort, Yuanzi booked two adjacent beds.

For a normal person, it would definitely not work, but Sonoko has the financial power.

Guangyou also benefited a little; he can sleep more comfortably tonight without worrying about accidentally rolling over into someone else's territory.

In addition, the cabin was not fully occupied to begin with, so it did not affect the other people.

Upon arriving here, Conan couldn't hold back any longer and sat down in a chair, drinking a sports drink and panting.

Sonoko had already slumped to the side, gulping down her drink while trying to catch her breath.

Guangyou is alright, because he has been able to rest along the way thanks to Sonoko and the others. He is only slightly out of breath now that he has climbed this far.

He checked the time; the sun was about to set, and Guangyou certainly couldn't miss such a beautiful sight.

Take the tripod out of the backpack, fix the DSLR on it, and place the backpack at the bottom of the tripod to increase the weight.

It's very windy now, and Guangyou doesn't want his DSLR camera to be blown away.

After adjusting the camera angle, confirming that the camera battery is fully charged, and setting the time-lapse interval, the preparation is complete.

Half an hour after Kwang-woo had finished preparing everything, the sunset began.

By this time, Guangyou had already gone to the cabin to have dinner.

Dinner was simple: some rice, two sausages, a little curry, and a bowl of hot miso soup.

Only the miso soup was decent, but after a long day of hiking, food is always a plus when you're exhausted.

Conan and Sonoko enjoyed their meal. They felt that being able to sit down and have a bowl of steaming miso soup was the ultimate happiness.

The meal lasted for more than half an hour. Guangyou put on his windbreaker and went out of the small house to retrieve the camera.

At an altitude of 3200 meters, Baiyunzhuang truly made Guangyou feel as if he were above the clouds.

The last rays of the setting sun pierced through the gaps in the clouds, turning the pure white clouds into a dazzling gold.

Back at the cabin, Kōyū sat down next to Ai and opened the camera to view the photos he had just taken.

We filmed for so long, but the actual content only lasts a few minutes.

The saying "the essence is in the condensed" is perfectly exemplified here.

The sun is setting, its rays fading, and the azure sky is tinged with a mysterious purple.

As time went by, the purple hue grew deeper and deeper, until it finally dyed the entire sky the same purple before it stopped.

As the sky changes, so does the sea of clouds.

The white clouds seemed to be boiling, churning and rolling like children playing and frolicking.

This scene is so beautiful; any screenshot could be wallpaper-worthy.

Unfortunately, the resolution isn't high; if it could shoot in 4K, Guangyou would be satisfied.

Ai exclaimed, "It looks so beautiful when it's filmed like this."

“Yes,” Guangyou agreed, explaining, “This is condensing more than half an hour into just a few minutes of essence.”

Guangyou watched this film two or three times over, and he still couldn't get enough of it. The grandeur and magnificence of this natural scenery are rarely seen in the city.

After finishing his meal, Kōyū went to the toilet to relieve himself. It costs 200 yen to use the toilet on Mount Fuji because there are no pipes here. After each climbing season, the waste needs to be transported down by hand.

Thinking about it that way, 200 yen isn't that expensive.

Those climbers outside of the climbing season need to bring their own containers to collect their excrement, which they then bring down the mountain.

After an afternoon of hiking, everyone except Guangyou had already fallen asleep.

Guangyou, holding a camera, sat outside the small house, completely covered up from head to toe.

The temperature dropped sharply at night, and the wind was strong. A windbreaker was no longer enough. Fortunately, the vending machine in the cabin sold hot coffee.

Coffee is a diuretic, so it doesn't provide much effective hydration. Guangyou only used it to stuff inside his clothes to keep warm.

Baiyun Manor is located far from the city, and the night sky above the clouds is even more magnificent.

The dark blue brocade was adorned with twinkling stars, and a dazzling Milky Way stretched across the night sky.

Guangyou felt as if he had seen a corner of the universe. Of course, this was only a corner of it. If he were actually in the universe, the scene would definitely be even more breathtaking.

He came out to enjoy the cold wind specifically to photograph this starry sky.

After taking a few pictures from different angles, Guangyou didn't just stand outside admiring the moon all night. He tidied up and returned to his warm and cozy little nest, then quietly slipped into bed.

I woke up at 11:50 a.m., which means I had only slept for about four hours. But I have to get up now if I want to see the sunrise.

"Get up."

Kōyū reached out and shook Conan awake, but Conan was fast asleep and showed no sign of waking up.

Seeing this, Kōyū raised his eyebrows, looked at Conan's lower body, hesitated for a moment, and after thinking for a few seconds, Kōyū felt that it was better to give Conan some face.

So he took out the spray oxygen canister he had bought earlier, put it in front of Conan's nose, and sprayed it hard.

Conan woke up instantly, covering his nose with both hands, looking full of energy.

When Kōyū saw that Conan was awake, he sat up and looked at Ai, who was still asleep, and whispered in her ear, "Get up."
