Jade Mountain stretches across the plains, and jade forests branch off along the way.
When Guangyou jumped from the second floor, it had already started snowing.
A thin layer has now accumulated on the ground, a sight rarely seen in southern China.
No matter how many times he sees it, Guangyou still finds the scene of light snow falling beautiful.
Pure white snowflakes drifted down from the dark clouds, and for a moment, Guangyou felt that he looked a lot like Ai. The color of the dark clouds did not make the snowflakes lose their pure color.
Ai stretches out her hand and lets the snowflakes fall into her palm. The snowflakes melt into water the moment they touch her palm, leaving only a small wet mark to prove that they were once there.
Beautiful, but fleeting...
As the sun rises and the snow melts, it transforms into a source of life, nourishing the earth, seemingly asking for nothing in return.
Ai reached out to try and grasp the snowflakes, but she couldn't. However, she wasn't discouraged. A smile played on her pale red lips: "So beautiful."
"Not as beautiful as you."
After Guangyou finished speaking, he smiled calmly and looked up at the sky, which was already covered with dark clouds.
The moon was hidden behind the dark clouds, not revealing a single glimpse, as if it were shy, which was somewhat similar to Ai Haibara's situation at that moment.
Ai's face flushed a pretty blush at those words, and her lips curled up in a teasing tone: "Looks like you've used that mouth to fool quite a few girls before."
Guangyou sniffed it and said exaggeratedly, "I feel like there's a vinegar smell in the air."
"Hmph." Ai didn't admit it, but said in her uniquely cold voice, "Men are all big pigs, admit it, how many have you lied to before?"
"Let me count."
Kōyū released Ai's hand and stood still, counting on his fingers, "Miss Haie, Miss Haramura, Miss Aiko..."
Seeing that Guangyou seemed to still be counting, Xiao Ai raised her eyebrows and said, "You're really capable. Is there too many to remember?"
"Hmm..." Guangyou looked up and gestured three. "I can only remember three."
Ai turned her head slightly and kicked the snow with her foot: "Then you're awesome."
Guangyou leaned closer and smiled: "You still say you're not jealous? You're so tsundere. Try putting the first character of those three people's names together."
Ai Haibara slightly raised her head, opened her mouth, and said, "Haie, Haramura, Aiko..."
The next second, she realized the meaning behind the words.
The name looks strange, but when you put each character together, it's her name—or more accurately, the name that Professor Agasa originally gave her.
"Actually, I like three girls at the same time right now," Kōyū said with a grin, looking at her. "Sherry, Shiho Miyano, Ai Haibara..."
Ai blushed slightly, avoiding Kousuke's direct gaze, and looked to the side: "Hmph, you're quite the smooth talker, you've definitely fooled a lot of girls."
Guangyou stood up straight, pointed to the sky, and said, "I swear to the moon, it's just you."
Upon hearing this, Ai replied directly, "But there's no moon right now."
Guangyou lowered his hand, looked down, and pinched his chin in silence.
This girl has such a tricky angle...
Seeing Guangyou's embarrassed look, Ai said with a hint of smugness, "Fine, I'm magnanimous, I won't dwell on this with you."
Kōyū then looked up at Ai, and the moment Ai noticed his gaze, her expression returned to normal.
"What a pity."
Guangyou suddenly shook his head and sighed.
Ai turned her head and asked in confusion, "What's wrong?"
"I went a little too easy on him." Guangyou curled his lip. "If I had known he was going to die, I would have gone harder."
A warm feeling washed over Ai, not because Kōyū was too rough, but mainly because Kōyū stood up for her.
This feeling is really good...
"Thank you."
Upon hearing this, Guangyou immediately turned around and said with some dissatisfaction, "Didn't I tell you not to say thank you?"
Ai nodded, lowered her eyes, and said, "Yes, I really want to thank you."
"Take concrete actions."
Guangyou touched his lips with his finger for a moment, then pointed to his cheek, closed his eyes, and leaned closer.
Ai pursed her lips, hesitated for a moment, then suddenly smiled meaningfully and said, "Face me, I'm going to give you a gift."
Guangyou was very excited at this moment.
A gift that shows the front view?
I was originally planning to wait for that plan, but now it's here?
It seems today is another memorable day!
Kōyū obediently faced Ai, his breathing slightly rapid, and a blush appearing on his face as if he were fantasizing about that scene.
The organs in his chest were slowly accelerating, and with the quiet surroundings, Guangyou could almost hear his heart beating.
After waiting for a while, the gift that Guangyou was looking for still hadn't arrived, but he wasn't impatient.
It's normal for girls to be shy, right?
As a boy, he naturally needs to be patient.
Come on, Ai, don't worry about my feelings!
The expected soft, sticky feeling didn't come. The next second, Guangyou felt something hit his face. At the same time, the thing was very cold, which gave him goosebumps.
Guangyou quickly opened his eyes, and all he could see was white snow. He quickly reached out and brushed the snow off his face.
While I was taking pictures of the snow, all I could hear was Ai's cheerful laughter.
After cleaning up a bit, Kōyū deliberately put on a stern face and said to Ai, "You're really cheeky."
"Hmph."
Ai shrugged, not answering directly, but looking at Kyou in front of her, she was in a good mood.
