That's how it is.
Kōyū briefly told Takagi what had happened between entering the castle and rescuing the people. Then he went to Misa's side, squatted down, and began to observe her.
In order to get out of this situation as soon as possible, Guangyou thought he should see if he could help in any way.
Upon learning of Misa's death, the three women's emotions, which had finally calmed down, instantly collapsed again.
Fortunately, this time they didn't cry; they just looked at Misa's body with deep regret on their faces.
Even now, they still can't believe that their friend, who was laughing and joking not long ago, is now a gradually cooling corpse.
They were just ordinary citizens who had never seen such a scene before. Two of them took a step back, but quickly followed suit.
Kōyū turned to look at Takagi, blinked, and asked, "Officer Takagi, do you have white gloves?"
"Guangyou..."
Takagi was quite helpless. The kind-hearted man didn't know how to lose his temper. After thinking about what had happened before, he obediently took out a pair of white gloves from his pocket and threw them to Kōyū.
However, he still warned, "You can watch from the side, but don't touch anything."
"OK."
Kōyū did not object. After Takagi finished speaking, he obediently squatted down beside him and silently observed the corpse, occasionally turning it over when Takagi was not paying attention.
To some extent, even the dead can speak. Kōyū's gaze swept over Misa's corpse, and after observing for a few seconds, he drew some rather interesting conclusions.
"Did you discover something?"
Hearing Ai's question, Kōyū stood up and continued looking at the corpse, saying, "Well, the range of suspects in this murder case has been roughly determined."
This surprised Ai. She glanced at the corpse, then turned to look at Kōyū, and asked, "You already know?"
There was no other information besides a corpse and the deceased's name, but Guangyou still uttered those extremely certain words.
"Hmm, it's most likely a crime of passion, but we need to look at the details."
A confident smile played on Guangyou's lips. Although he didn't have any substantial evidence, he was still very confident in his deduction.
Ai stared at Misa on the ground for a long time, but she couldn't glean any useful information: "How did you figure that out?"
"Wait a minute, let me verify it."
Taking advantage of Takagi's inattention, Kōyū quickly squatted down and reached out to take the ring off Misa's left ring finger.
After this happened, all the lights in the haunted house came on. Kōyū held the ring up to the light and examined it carefully. He quickly confirmed his suspicions and put the ring back on Misa's left ring finger.
"Kuangyou, what are you doing?"
Takagi turned around, looked at Kōyū's hand hanging in mid-air, sighed deeply, and said, "I really can't do anything with you."
"hey-hey."
After giving a couple of awkward laughs, Kōyū stood up, took a few steps back, shrugged at Takagi, and said, "It's okay, I won't come any closer."
Since Misa already knows all the information she left behind, it's pointless to get closer or not.
Can you explain this?
Even now, Ai still hasn't been able to glean any useful information from the corpse, which isn't surprising, as not everyone can do that.
"The deceased was about 27 years old. I guess her job must have been related to the media industry."
Kōyū stared at Misa's corpse and slowly said, "She had been married for at least three years, but the couple was not on good terms. She had two or more lovers, and none of the lovers knew that she was married."
"Go ahead and make it up."
Ai rolled her eyes. She simply didn't believe that Kousuke could know such private information just from a silent corpse.
Work is one thing, but if you can tell from a few years of marriage and their private emotional life, that's a bit suspicious.
Kōyū could see Ai's confusion, so he turned to look at her and asked, "Do you need me to explain?"
Xiao Ai snorted and said haughtily, "Tell me if you want, or don't."
"She had an identification card in the left pocket of her clothes. I didn't look at it closely, but it looked like a press card, so she was from the media."
Guangyou was used to this arrogance. Looking at the corpse, he said, "The reason for the three years of marriage was the ring on her hand. That ring was a wedding ring designed by the jewelry master Mr. Kageyama three years ago, and it was very valuable."
Guangyou had previously researched this topic, intending to learn from the works of famous artists and find inspiration. Unexpectedly, he ended up using the information he had gathered at that time. This was quite surprising.
Guangyou continued, "All her jewelry has been carefully maintained, but only that ring is dirty. This is evidence of discord between her and her husband."
After he finished speaking, Kōyū gave Ai a little time to process what he had said.
After thinking for a moment, Ai nodded affirmatively. She admitted that Mitsuyu's line of reasoning was completely sound, and although there was no evidence for what he said, she had already believed most of it.
But she still stubbornly insisted, "So what you said isn't a big problem."
His familiar arrogant tone brought a faint smile to Guangyou's lips. Seeing that she had almost digested it, he continued, "I just checked. The outside of the ring is dirty, but the inside is clean, which means she often takes the ring off."
"The ring only gets slightly shiny when she takes it off. Since it was mentioned that she works in the media, her job shouldn't require her to take off her ring."
