Chapter 53 The Bewildered Taxi Driver

He quickly apologized, picked up the skateboard without checking it carefully, and hurriedly tried to continue chasing after them.

Looking up, Conan saw the old lady get into a taxi. With only 5 minutes left, Conan jumped onto his skateboard and hurriedly chased after the taxi.

With four minutes left, Conan watched the taxi stop, but before he could even feel happy, his skateboard came to a halt.

Seemingly realizing something, Conan cursed under his breath, "Could it be that it was damaged back then?!"

After jumping off his skateboard, Conan looked around and spotted a young boy on a bicycle buying a drink in the distance. Conan's eyes lit up, and he ran to the boy's side. Before the boy could agree, Conan hopped on his bicycle and chased after the taxi, leaving the boy bewildered in the wind with his drink in hand.

"Little brother, can I borrow your bicycle for a moment?"

The boy on the bicycle stood on the street, holding a drink, watching Conan ride off into the distance. Pointing to himself, he said in a daze, "Little brother? Do I look younger than him?"

Conan naturally didn't hear what the boy on the bicycle said. Even if he had, he could only laugh awkwardly. After all, if you went out and told others that you shrunk by taking some kind of drug, who would believe you?

If you had said this to Shinichi Kudo before, he would have said you were overthinking it. But when it happens to you, you have to believe it!

Just as the taxi was about to appear, the traffic started to move again, and there were only 3 minutes left.

Thinking about the nearby roads, Conan had an idea and rode his bike into a side alley.

The road ended at a roadblock, but Conan used the raised ground to lift the front of the car and send it flying over the roadblock.

The fallen bicycle and the oncoming taxi were just a hair's breadth apart and were about to collide.

Fortunately, taxi drivers are generally experienced, and their professionalism is much higher than that of the motorcycle driver in front of me.

Seeing that he seemed to have hit a child, the driver quickly got out of the car and asked Conan if he was alright.

Conan didn't have time to explain much to him. He ran to the car and said to the still dazed old lady, "Grandma, can I borrow this box for a moment?"

Seeing that its little house had been stolen, the kitten's eyes revealed a human-like side, as if saying, "You dare to steal my house, you wretched brat!"

Upon opening the box, Conan saw that the bomb had only 25 seconds left. Without even having time to scoff at the absurd claim the old lady hadn't seen it, Conan jumped out of the car. Looking around, he felt a surge of anxiety: "I can't let the bomb explode here! What do I do! What do I do!"

As if by divine intervention, the bomb stopped. Remembering the open space across the highway, Conan got on his bike, ignoring Hou Meng's bewildered driver and the old lady.

The driver, who was ignored, was also very upset: Is my presence so insignificant?

The driver watched Conan drive away, then looked at the skateboard in his hand, and for a moment he didn't know what to say.
