"It's absolutely ridiculous!"
Kondo's previously somewhat naive expression turned ferocious, and he denied it outright, "These are all just things you've made up out of thin air. You haven't left here at all, there's absolutely no evidence!"
"Are all these prisoners so talkative?"
Guangyou stood aside expressionlessly, watching the show. In fact, he didn't quite understand why these prisoners were trying to defend themselves; it was all pointless.
Just honestly confess your guilt, why waste so much breath?
He needs to finish this case quickly; he's waiting to settle scores with Conan.
"Guangyou, you said there was a white-eye's nest in that tree, right?"
This time, Conan wasn't trying to tease Kousuke; he just realized that Kousuke was an incredibly useful tool in this case.
Uncle Mori, who was under his drug, did not leave the group to look for clues; some things just don't make sense.
Now that we have Kōyū, we can just attribute any discoveries to him, which is incredibly useful.
"Well, I think you know, Uncle Kondo, that white-eyes might build their nests with spider silk, right?"
In order to solve the case as soon as possible, Kōyū temporarily ignored Conan's behavior and continued the conversation, "I think you should know this, Uncle, but you probably didn't notice that Mr. Hirai also has spider silk stuck to the right side of his abdomen, right?"
Even now, Guangyou still can't understand what those forensic doctors are doing here. Are they just here to push the dead back?
According to normal procedures, forensic doctors deduce the cause and time of death based on the deceased's physical characteristics.
The forensic pathologists then conducted an in-depth investigation, obtaining more information from the deceased's body to help solve the case.
Logically, the investigation should have found spider silk on the deceased's body.
Why didn't any of these people notice?
Is it because this place is remote that the people who hold this position are not very skilled?
It's so frustrating...
The staff member pushing the medical cart stopped, lifted the cloth covering the deceased, glanced at the spot Guangyou had mentioned, nodded, and said, "There are indeed spider webs on the deceased's body."
"Even if he has spider silk on him, what does that have to do with me? Does the spider silk have my fingerprints or other evidence that can prove my identity?"
Even after all this, Kondo still didn't want to admit it, which was entirely within Kosuke's expectations.
For some reason, in 90% of the cases Conan encounters, all the culprits are just like Kondo.
To put it in an old saying, it's like "not giving up until you reach the Yellow River, not shedding tears until you see the coffin."
Since they had to play like this, Kōyū didn't want to keep it to himself anymore, and he knew with a little thought that Conan would call him again later.
They'll definitely say something like, "Kuangyou, tell them what you just found on that tree."
Since we'll have to talk about it sooner or later anyway, we might as well just crush the person's will to argue.
"I found the marks left by shoe nails on that tree. The marks were very fresh, probably made within the last day or two."
Kouyu pointed at Kondo's shoes, "Recent hiking boots don't have spikes, but yours... seems to be a style from over ten years ago."
Upon hearing this, Kondo subconsciously took a small step back.
Isn't this a classic case of protesting too much?
The situation reached a stalemate, and the atmosphere was very tense.
It's obvious to anyone with eyes that Kondo is already feeling guilty.
"hateful!"
Kondo cursed under his breath and turned to run away, a move that left Kōsuke completely stunned.
Turning around and running away is something else, that's incredibly decisive!
But he can't escape, so this operation is a real waste of time.
"Drink! Ha!"
Just as Kondo was marveling at his move, Ran, who had reacted quickly, ran to Kondo's side and punched him in the abdomen like a bullet leaving a barrel.
With the pressure on his soft abdomen, Kondo's body arched like a shrimp, his facial features contorted in agony.
Then, Ran's fists struck dozens of times in a few seconds, each time hitting Kondo's abdomen.
The pain in his abdomen caused Kondo to kneel down, head bowed, hands clutching his stomach, beads of cold sweat forming on his forehead.
That wasn't all. Xiaolan withdrew her fist, took a small step back, and with another low shout, she suddenly raised her long, slender leg, kicking towards Kondo's face with a gust of wind.
"drink!"
"Thump!"
As Ran's shout fell, Kondo was thrown back a meter or two, landing on the ground with a thud, followed by a painful groan from his throat.
"Phew..." Xiaolan clapped her hands, breathed a sigh of relief, her brows relaxed, and said to the police officer in her usual gentle tone, "Officer, you can arrest him now."
"This..." The officer swallowed hard, his gaze shifting back and forth between Ran and Kondo.
Kondo, lying on the ground, was still twitching, while the girl beside him had such a sweet and lovely smile.
Recalling what had just happened, he could hardly believe it.
The girl's movements were swift and powerful, and her fighting techniques were skillful, seemingly resembling karate.
That's not the point!
The key point is everything that just happened!
Judging from her appearance and tone of voice, this girl should be very gentle, so what was with that combo she just used?
Kondo appears to be over 1.75 meters tall, and due to his work, he looks very robust, so his weight is naturally not light.
But just now he seemed to see the girl kick someone a meter or two away?
