"If it were for a lifetime, would you say yes?"
When she asked the question, Ai was actually a little nervous. Although she knew that Kousuke would definitely agree, what if he didn't?
Immediately afterwards, Ai felt that Kousuke was no longer resting his chin on her forehead, so she looked up at Kousuke, who was looking down at her.
Looking into Ai's sparkling eyes, Kōyū nodded without hesitation: "Of course I agree. I have no reason not to agree, as long as you don't throw away someone like me who has no research value."
"That's not necessarily true." Ai smiled slightly. "Research naturally requires more test subjects, otherwise what if the data is inaccurate?"
“I think one is enough,” Guangyou said. “You don’t need to find any other test subjects at all.”
"That depends on your performance," Ai said softly, leaning closer. "If you do well, I'll consider giving you a reward."
Guangyou asked curiously, "So how have I been doing these past two days?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Ai suddenly leaned forward and kissed Kousuke on the corner of his lips, pulling away just as quickly, and asked, "What do you think?"
"I think it's great." Kōyū reached out and touched the spot where he had just been kissed, saying, "Whether it's my performance these past two days or your reward."
"You know that's enough." Ai turned around, lay back in Kouyu's arms, and said, "By the way, don't try to run away before I throw you away."
"Don't worry, it won't happen."
...
After watching TV peacefully for a while, a series of rhythmic footsteps came from outside the door, followed by a woman's voice: "Children, it's time to eat."
Hearing the greeting from outside the door, Ai stood up from Kouyu's arms, smoothing out the wrinkles in her clothes. Kouyu, after turning off the TV, also stood up and replied, "We'll be right there."
After confirming that the two had not left anything suspicious, Kōyū pushed open the door and was greeted by a middle-aged woman dressed in a kimono.
Time has left its mark on her face, but even so, you can still vaguely see that she was quite good-looking when she was young. This is not to praise her appearance, but rather that the proportions of her features are pleasing to the eye.
At the same time, her smile was just right, making people feel good without feeling that the smile was too formulaic. This smile made Guangyou feel like he was bathed in a spring breeze.
Every gesture she made revealed the woman's quiet and reserved personality.
Clearly, this woman is a typical Yamato Nadeshiko.
So far, Kōyū has met two women who could be called Yamato Nadeshiko. One of them is the unknown woman in front of him, and the other is Ikenami Shizuka, or Hattori Shizuka.
That is, Hattori Heiji's dark-skinned mother.
The woman led the way, with Kōyō and Ayā following behind, their thoughts drifting away.
Compared to Shizuka Ikenami, this woman would definitely be utterly crushed. Not only does she possess the qualities of a Yamato Nadeshiko, but she's also incredibly beautiful.
Not only that, Shizuka Ikenami is also skilled in kendo, and her skill level is quite high; she can even disarm an opponent with a fan.
Normally, Ikeba Shizuka is as gentle as water, but when she reveals another side, she is like a peerless sword drawn from its sheath, extremely sharp.
"Little friend, we've arrived."
As Kwang-yu was lost in thought, a woman's voice pulled him back from his wandering thoughts.
"Oh, thank you, Auntie."
After thanking them, Kōyū and Ai went into the room.
The room was filled with fragrance and echoed with the conversation between Tamagawa Joji and Uncle Mori. Conan and Ran sat next to Uncle Mori.
None of them touched their chopsticks, seemingly waiting for Guangyou and the other person.
The dishes on the table were very plentiful, and you could find traces of everything that flies in the sky, runs on the ground, or swims in the water.
Apart from Tamagawa Joji and Uncle Mori, the main course for everyone else was Japanese pork cutlet rice, the soup was miso soup which is indispensable for Japanese people, and there were two small pieces of mackerel miso, while salad and sushi were served as dessert.
After the latecomers, Kōyū and Ai, took their seats, Tamagawa Jōji said with a smile, "Mr. Mōri, now that everyone is here, let's start eating. My wife doesn't know your tastes, so please forgive her if you don't like it."
"We really have to thank Mr. Tamagawa for treating us to such a sumptuous dinner." Uncle Mori raised his glass, gestured to Tamagawa Joji, and then downed the wine in one gulp. "This wine is really good."
"I'm glad Mr. Mori likes it." Tamagawa Joji also raised his glass, gestured, and then drank it all in one gulp. "If Mr. Mori likes it, I'll have my wife prepare some for you so you can take it home and enjoy it at your leisure."
"How could I possibly accept that?" Uncle Mori smiled sheepishly. "We've already troubled Mr. Tamagawa so much; how could we possibly take the wine back?"
Actually, Uncle Mori really wanted it, because as soon as he tasted it, he knew that this wine was definitely not cheap. It had a mild and mellow taste with a sweet aftertaste.
Even if he buys this kind of wine, he can only take it out for a small sip during holidays like Chinese New Year; he can't drink it to his heart's content like he does on ordinary days.
However, with free hot springs and so many delicious dishes on the table, asking for more wine would seem a bit greedy.
"It's nothing, it's nothing." Tamagawa Joji waved his hand and said, "It's rare to find someone I can chat with. What's a little wine? Doesn't Mr. Mori consider me a friend?"
"Well... okay."
Since things had come to this point, Uncle Mori couldn't refuse, so he could only nod and say, "Then thank you, Mr. Tamagawa."
...
Listening to the interaction between the two, Guangyou began to have doubts again: "Isn't this person being a little too nice to Uncle? Could he really have ulterior motives?"
