The showerhead sprayed a stream of slightly hot water continuously, washing away the foam on Guangyou's body and taking away some of his fatigue.
Before entering the hot spring, everyone has to take a shower, supposedly to prevent bringing dirt into the hot spring pool. Some people also say that taking a hot shower before soaking in the hot spring can open up the pores, which is beneficial for the absorption of minerals.
Guangyou didn't know whether it was true or not, nor was he interested in knowing. Since the shower room was placed behind the changing room, he could use it. Taking a shower wouldn't take much time, especially since it was free.
Although Tamagawa Onsen is not large, it has very complete facilities.
The equipment isn't top-of-the-line, but it's not bad. Putting aside the appearance, at least the water flow didn't fluctuate in temperature.
The shower room is quite large; even three adults can stand in the shower room and still have enough space to move around without feeling crowded.
Considering the limited number of tourists and space constraints, there are only four or five shower rooms like this one here, and I estimate there are about the same on the other side.
Putting aside his previous prejudice against Tamagawa Castle, Kouyu was quite satisfied with the place. The environment was elegant, close to nature, and the facilities were complete and perfect. He couldn't find any fault with it.
After turning off the tap, Guangyou picked up a towel to dry himself, then put on a pair of swimming trunks. As he walked out of the room wrapped in the towel, he muttered to himself, "Everything else is pretty good, but I wonder what the hot spring will be like."
Separating the shower room from the hot spring is a dark blue curtain printed with a white koi fish pattern.
After lifting the curtain, you can see the steaming hot spring, and a passageway leading directly to the hot spring extends from the wooden edifice under your feet.
Having just taken a hot shower, and with the outside temperature being rather low, Guangyou felt goosebumps on his exposed skin the moment he stepped outside.
Conan had already entered the pool and saw Kouyu arriving late. Conan remarked, "Are you a snail? You're even slower than me."
Kōyū glanced at Conan and explained, "I just took a walk around the neighborhood, which took up some time."
"Is it about Tamagawa Joji? Have you discovered something?" Conan immediately perked up. "Is there something wrong with Tamagawa Joji?"
Upon hearing this, Guangyou's lips twitched: "I don't know if he has a problem, but I know you definitely have a problem with your brain."
"Me? What's wrong with me?" Conan revealed his crescent-shaped eyes. "You're not just unwilling to tell me, are you?"
“It’s a pity, it’s not that I don’t want to tell you, it’s that I really don’t know,” Guangyou said, spreading his hands. “I wasn’t even investigating him.”
"What were you doing wandering around outside?" Conan seemed to have thought of a possibility and teased, "You didn't get lost, did you?"
"You're overthinking it. How could I possibly get lost?" Guangyou said calmly. "I just wanted to see his interior design so I could use it as inspiration when I renovate my own home in the future."
"You're buying a house?" Conan looked at Kōyū through the thin layer of steam and asked doubtfully, "Isn't it a bit too early?"
“There is indeed plenty of time, but we still need to prepare in advance,” Guangyou explained. “That way, I can take my time and work on it until I am satisfied.”
"..." Conan was speechless for a long time before finally managing to stammer, "You really are quite the schemer."
"Thank you for the compliment."
After dealing with Conan, Kōyū continued walking along the passageway that extended from the side. On the left side of the passageway, there was a set of wooden tables and chairs, with several bottles of beer and juice on the table, and even a portable barbecue grill next to it.
"That's quite a treat." Guangyou smacked his lips. "Soaking in the hot springs, drinking, and eating skewers, tsk, the lives of the rich are so simple, unpretentious, and boring."
The passageway was short, and Guangyou quickly stepped onto the stairs leading to the hot spring. The difference in height between the edge and the ground was not significant. After walking down one or two steps, half of his foot was already submerged in the hot spring water.
The hot spring water was quite hot, but fortunately, Guangyou had taken a hot bath beforehand, so he adapted very quickly. After a short pause, he continued walking down the slope.
As he walked, he took off the bathrobe he was wearing and held it in his arms.
According to traditional Japanese customs, you cannot wear any clothes when soaking in hot springs, not even swim trunks.
But Kuang-yu really didn't want to do this. It was just too damn embarrassing. If other men saw it, wouldn't that damage their self-confidence?
A thin layer of fog had obscured Conan's vision, making visibility extremely low, so he couldn't see Kōyū at all.
However, after Kousuke got closer, Conan finally got a good look at him and exclaimed, "This guy has a really good physique."
Conan should clarify this beforehand: he is male, likes women, and his crush is Ran. His feelings for Mitsuyu are at most superficial brotherly affection, and he has no other intentions whatsoever.
To be fair, Kwang-yu has a really good physique. Compared to Kwang-yu, his physique is really rather poor.
The guy in front of me didn't have any excess fat. His muscles weren't as big or exaggerated as a fitness instructor's. He had a streamlined figure and was the type who looked slim in clothes but muscular when undressed.
There are six relatively obvious abdominal muscles, and the outline of the seventh and eighth muscles can be faintly seen.
On Guangyou's lower pectoral muscles to the serratus anterior muscles on the side, also known as the shark lines, although they are not very obvious, they are already outlined.
Compared to the shark line, Kwang-yu's mermaid line is more pronounced.
Conan looked down at his slightly protruding belly, shook his head helplessly, sighed, and thought to himself, "The difference is really big."
He couldn't bear to look anymore. Why was there such a big difference between children of the same age with similar physical conditions?
